The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida is one of the most architecturally distinctive event venues in the Tampa Bay area. The building itself — anchored by "The Enigma," a dramatic geodesic glass structure — provides a backdrop unlike any ballroom or banquet hall. Private events here unfold against one of the largest collections of Salvador Dalí's work outside of Europe, with exclusive after-hours gallery access included in every rental. Three event spaces serve different occasions. The Avant-garden is an outdoor garden surrounded by lush landscaping and Dalí-inspired sculptures, accommodating up to 275 guests for cocktail receptions, open-air dinners, and wedding ceremonies. The main floor spans 15,500 square feet of red oak, with a permanent stage measuring 37 feet wide by 20 feet deep. The space accommodates 600 to 800 guests for banquet-style events with a dance floor, up to 1,100 guests for banquet seating without a dance floor, and up to 1,800 for general admission concerts and standing events. An integrated JBL sound system, stage lighting with 34 pars, and two loading docks are available on-site. The gallery's rotating exhibitions showcase work from more than 40 nationally and internationally recognized glass artists, spanning sculpture, jewelry, wall art, and garden installations. On-site, the St. Petersburg Hot Glass Workshop — one of the most advanced hot glass facilities in the region — makes live glassblowing demonstrations a distinctive feature of any event held here. Private events accommodate up to 125 guests across the interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces. The Tampa Bay History Center is a 60,000-square-foot museum and event venue situated on Tampa's Riverwalk at 801 Water Street, accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. Opened in 2009, the center explores 12,000 years of Florida history across three levels of galleries — from indigenous peoples through the Cigar City era and into contemporary times — and houses the Touchton Map Library, home to one of the largest collections of Florida maps in the world. For private events, the center offers three distinct rental spaces: the Lykes Atrium, a 2,538-square-foot central hall accommodating up to 250 guests; TECO Hall, the largest indoor space at 2,697 square feet with a 14-foot ceiling height and capacity for 300 guests; and the Upper Terrace, an outdoor terrace with waterfront views of Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park suited for gatherings of up to 75. All rentals include customizable seating and table configurations, in-house audiovisual capabilities, trusted vendor partnerships, and dedicated event management. Oxford Exchange is a one-stop shop for private parties and weddings, catering to everything from birthdays, anniversaries, and showers to corporate events and fundraisers.
