Stonebridge Wedding Venue sits on 40 acres along the Nolan River in Blum, Texas, about 45 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour from Dallas or Waco. The historic property takes its name from a stone bridge visible along the riverbank and is built around natural features including ponds, waterfalls, tree-covered paths, and unique rock formations rising above the water. At the heart of the grounds stands the Tree of Life, a live oak believed to be more than 200 years old and ranked among the ten largest of its kind in Texas; its outstretched branches can host up to 300 guests for a ceremony. For receptions, Tuxedo Hall offers 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with a balcony, large windows, a dance floor, and a kitchen and bar area for caterers, opening onto an outdoor deck through a run of French doors. Rock Lake Ranch is a working ranch owned and operated by the Geffert family, which has been in the family for several generations. They are sixth generation Texans who take tremendous pleasure in their ancestors and the history of their home state. This gorgeous property, which was named after Rock Lake Creek, was formerly a camping area for Native Americans who were lured to the spring-fed creek that cut through the exposed sandstone cliffs. The Gefferts' great-grandparents came in the Piedmont area in the mid-1850s, when they were born. During the 1920s, their grandparents, Annie Lee and Johnny Churchwell, were still operating a self-sufficient farmhouse on the acreage they inherited. The Writer's Cottage, a shotgun-style residence built in the early 1900s in Houston's Fourth Ward, was formerly a popular hangout for writers. When it was transported to the ranch in 2005, it had been authentically restored by volunteers and professionals from Historic Houston. The Old Gibbons Creek bridge, a steel-truss bridge built in the early twentieth century and affectionately known as the "Shanghai Bridge" by locals, originally stood a few miles away. It had been abandoned since the 1980s, but it was relocated and rebuilt in 2009, and it now serves as a picturesque gateway to the Waterfront Pavilion and other outdoor spaces at Rock Lake Ranch. There are still remnants of their grandparents' first home on Rock Lake Ranch, including the Allen House and wooden barn area, as well as the old well house and cistern where their grandparents' original farmhouse previously stood. Rock Lake Ranch, with its rich family heritage and inspiring natural beauty, is the ideal setting for both reliving ancient traditions and beginning new ones.

The property is built around 22 historic buildings, along with several primitive structures, relocated from around central Texas and restored to modern building codes; the oldest date back to the 1850s. Centerpiece spaces include The Chapel, a restored country church originally built in Pontotoc, Texas around 1899, and the Fitzhugh Chapel/Hall, the ranch's largest indoor space, a former community center built in 1914 that can host more than 300 guests. Devin and Sarah Noel are young entrepreneurs from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and Lafayette, Louisiana, respectively. They are a married couple with three sons, all boys. They met in 2016 while both were employed full-time by AT&T. Sarah began decorating small parties for family and friends when she first started out, with ambitions to one day work as an event planner. Devin supported her ideas while also searching for his own life's meaning and calling. He hopes to make a positive contribution to the community. As time went on and their family and duties increased, their ambition began to wane and it became simply impossible to achieve. After their wedding in February 2020, she felt that now was the time for her to give it another shot. As a result of Covid-19, the entire world was forced to shut down the following month. Their ambition had been shattered yet another time. They both continued to work for AT&T, and subsequently concluded that we needed a location where people could communicate in a way that had an impact on society. On June 13, 2021, the Creole Soiree restaurant in Broussard officially opened its doors. They are now members of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and they host a monthly community involvement event every month.
