Walter Hall Golf Course sits in a tranquil forest setting in Everett, Washington, about 30 minutes north of downtown Seattle, where evergreens frame views of both the Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges. The course has been a fixture for Pacific Northwest golfers since 1972, owned by the City of Everett and managed by Premier Golf Centers. Four sets of tees, ranging from 6,433 yards at the back to 5,219 yards at the forward markers, give the layout a player-friendly design suited to golfers of every skill level, all set against manicured course conditions. Beyond the fairways, Walter Hall's Olympic View Banquet Room looks out over the 18th hole and the Olympic Mountains, hosting parties, meetings, tournaments, and other private gatherings. The room comes equipped with white slat chairs, a dozen eight-foot banquet tables, a pull-down projection screen, and a galley kitchen, and groups can choose in-house catering through Breezeway Cafe or bring their own with an approved permit. Founded in 1907, the Everett Yacht Club sits at the south end of the Port of Everett Marina, on the Everett waterfront in Washington's Puget Sound. Its two-story clubhouse pairs indoor gathering space with two decks overlooking the marina, where boats line the docks and sunsets carry across the water. The clubhouse is available for private rental and accommodates up to 100 guests. The main floor features a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious, ground-level open area suited to the majority of a gathering, opening onto a covered deck furnished with patio tables, chairs, and a BBQ. Upstairs, a private bar and a smaller open space lend themselves to more intimate gatherings, with an open deck framing views of the waterfront marina. The full facility is ADA accessible, and renters are welcome to bring in a caterer of their choice or prepare food on-site using the kitchen.

Covington Cellars began as a hobby in a garage in Covington, Washington, before its founders, Cindy and David, turned their passion for winemaking into a business in 2002. The winery later relocated production to Woodinville, becoming the 19th winery to open in what has grown into a major wine destination. Its Woodinville tasting room sits in the Artisan Hill District, alongside a related tasting room in nearby Maltby, where the wine is produced. The Woodinville location offers two settings for private gatherings: a cozy space suited to smaller groups of 10 to 25 guests, and a larger space that can hold up to 120, with room for live music. A commercial kitchen on site allows for easy food service, and an optional kids' play space is available, making the venue workable for birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, corporate retreats, and wine club celebrations alike. On-premise chefs are on hand to help design a menu for private events. Covington Cellars also hosts a recurring lineup of Friday evening live music nights in Woodinville, pairing wine and food with local bands.

Redhook Brewlab’s concept is an intersection of Seattle history and culture, a place where the city’s eclectic influences mix – art, science, brewing, food, and music. Housed within the Pike Motorworks Building, Brewlab’s space is an open modern brewery and pub concept with an abundance of natural light. A focal point inside the brewpub is a custom mural by Grammy-nominated Seattle illustrator and Sub Pop Records Art Director Sasha Barr. The mural, which spans 14’ x 18’ on the wall near the front bar, is a colorful visual collage combining the city environment, people, beer, Seattle architecture, and elements from the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Large patios in the front and back of the space increase the seating capacity from 171 to 258, making the Redhook Brewlab’s total outdoor patio space the largest in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The back patio features two firepits for a cozy beer drinking experience, and both patios will be open as weather allows.

It was no surprise when Houdini hurled the deck of cards to the ceiling, but no one anticipated one of the cards to become stuck to a beam. The Ace of Spades, on the other hand, did. It was the exact card that Houdini's host had selected from the deck and inserted just before Houdini launched them into the air before they were able to catch their breath. In honor of the host, C.D Stimson, a prominent member of Seattle's early business and social communities, the card was kept on display in his home for the following twenty years. Willows Lodge was his hunting camp, and it was where he spent much of his time. The Stimsons, as well as numerous other prominent families from Seattle, had country estates in the valley near the current location of Willows Lodge. They reportedly partied, relaxed, hunted ducks, and created substantial business concepts on a regular basis, according to reports. It felt appropriate to carry on the name and spirit of the old Willows Lodge with the new Willows Lodge. An extensive photo collection at the hotel's special event room depicts the early years of the valley's development. Although the current Lodge, which opened in September 2000, is open to the public and guests are more frequently looking for a nice bottle of wine than a duck, it remains a "country place" committed to superb meals, a warm fire, relaxation, romance, and inspiring business deals, among other things.
