The Oncenter is Central New York's premier convention and entertainment facility, occupying three city blocks in downtown Syracuse. The complex unites three distinct venues: the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial, and the John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters. The Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center offers 100,000 square feet of adaptable space — from expansive exhibit halls suited for trade shows and large-scale conventions to a ballroom and dedicated breakout meeting rooms — with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and in-house catering by the Savor team. The Arkell Museum at Canajoharie is an art museum and library situated in the Mohawk Valley of upstate New York. Founded by Bartlett Arkell — the first president of the Beech-Nut Packing Company — the original building opened in 1925, with a dedicated gallery wing added in 1927 and a major expansion completed in 2007. The Ithaca Yacht Club occupies a stretch of Cayuga Lake's west shore, roughly 3.5 miles north of Cass Park and situated below the Glenwood Pines restaurant on Glenwood Road — making it Ithaca's only true lakeside event venue. The club opens its grounds for private events from May through October, welcoming weddings, corporate meetings, seminars, anniversaries, birthday parties, reunions, graduation celebrations, and other gatherings. Membership is not required to book an event. Indoor facilities accommodate up to 200 guests across the main clubhouse, blue awning patio, and member deck. For larger events, the grounds expand onto The Point, where a tent can be set up to host up to 400 guests.
