This open timber-framed structure is the perfect setting for a wide range of events and celebrations. For seated dinners of up to 100 persons, long wooden community tables are available. Oxford Farm welcomes weddings, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, company functions, conferences, team-building gatherings, and music festivals, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Event packages range from a simple day-use rental to a full-service option that includes an on-site wedding professional who helps plan and budget the event and directs the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Couples may also schedule photo sessions on the grounds ahead of their ceremony date at no extra charge, with the farm's horses sometimes wandering into the shots. The farm is also home to Mane Solutions, a therapeutic riding program, and offers on-site lodging through the Guest Cottage and the Lodge for guests attending an event or traveling through the area.

Ashley Hall's location in downtown Charleston is convenient to cultural and historical sites, shopping, and restaurants, all of which offer a diverse range of weekend activities. The Lowcountry coastal scenery, which glitters on the border of the Atlantic Ocean, offers a plethora of marine forests, marshes, beaches, and rivers ripe for exploration. Built in 1816, the Regency Villa–style McBee House was a private residence until Ashley Hall purchased it in 1909. The school's seashell house, which was once an exotic bird aviary, is a one-of-a-kind feature on the campus. All of the facilities are wheelchair accessible. After school hours, parking is accessible in the Smith Street and Ogier Street lots. Indoors and on the grounds, live music from a band or DJ is permitted. Noise restrictions in the city restricting loud music after 11:00 p.m. must be followed. In all buildings, smoking is forbidden. On campus, there are no cash bars, and alcohol must be removed soon after an event.
