  Historic Jasmine is a wedding and event venue set on a historic property in Providence Forge, Virginia, in New Kent County. The property was originally patented by surveyor and Virginia House of Burgesses member George Morris in 1680, and the current manor house dates to 1750. On October 8, 1781, the house served as a headquarters for General Washington's Revolutionary Army before troops proceeded to Yorktown for the war's decisive final engagement. The Morris family held the land until 1850, and Henry and Matte Brenneman acquired the property in 1918; a mural Matte painted in the front stairwell still adorns the residence today. The Smith family purchased the property in 2005 as a bed and breakfast, hosted their first wedding that October on the Manor House's front porch, and went on to develop the property into a full-time event venue. Historic Jasmine now hosts up to 200 guests across its garden and woodland settings, including the Chapel in the Woods, the Garden Pergola, and a 40-by-60-foot reception tent with an attached pavilion, string lighting, and crystal chandeliers. Please keep in mind that we are a functioning farm with a production focus, and our employees may be out in the field. Take a self-guided tour and have a picnic at one of the tables near the pavilion, or wherever you choose to spread a blanket. Dogs that are well-behaved and on a leash are welcome. Please eliminate any rubbish and debris. Visitors are not permitted to select their own flowers. When strolling through cultivated regions, please be cautious. Between April and October/November, the roadside farm stand is filled with grab-and-go flowers Wednesday through Sunday, and the greenhouse has plants for sale. Purchased in 1999 after decades of abandonment, the property underwent a full restoration before reopening in 2003 as a bed and breakfast, wedding venue, and special events destination. The grounds sweep down to a 15-acre lake, with 300 acres of nursery plantings rising on the hills beyond. Couples can choose from several ceremony sites on the property, including the Versailles Pavilion overlooking the lake, the Manor House's front porch and facade, the "Lovers' Tree," a 60' x 40' event tent with a central dance floor, or the Manor House itself for weddings of 75 guests or fewer.   Virginia Mountain Vineyards sits on 91 acres between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, in the town of Fincastle, Virginia, about 25 miles north of Roanoke. The vineyard was first planted in 1998 with Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc, later joined by Traminette, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Sauvignon Blanc, and now totals 9 acres of estate grapevines. Owners Brian Weber and Jacqui Sobieski, who purchased the property in 2018, focus on producing estate wines enjoyed against the winery's mountain views. For weddings, the vineyard offers an outdoor chapel setting surrounded by grapevines and lined with red rose bushes, with panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views. The reception venue, the Event Center, is a tri-peaked tent on a stone patio strung with chandeliers and Edison lighting, seating up to 250 guests for weddings and private gatherings alike. The venue does not provide catering in-house but works with local caterers of the couple's choosing, alongside its own estate wines for guests to enjoy.

  CrossKeys Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery on 125 acres in Mt. Crawford, Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, about 15 minutes from Harrisonburg. Its Tuscan-style villa looks out over the estate's own vineyards toward Massanutten Mountain and the Blue Ridge, on land the Bakhtiar family first planted in 2001; the tasting room opened in 2008 pouring 100% estate-grown Virginia wine. The property takes its name and crossed-keys symbol from the historic Cross Keys Tavern, a 19th-century gathering place that also served as a place of healing for wounded soldiers during the 1862 Battle of Cross Keys — a nod to hospitality the estate carries into its weddings and private events today. Weddings and private events draw on the villa's mix of indoor rooms and outdoor terraces, courtyards, and a piazza, with onsite gourmet catering, a dedicated event manager, and professional event staff. The estate also hosts bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate retreats, and other private gatherings, and operates a bistro and tasting room open daily. CrossKeys is led by owners Bob and Nikoo Bakhtiar alongside their sons Saam and Babak.
