  Country Club of Culpeper has served the Culpeper, Virginia community since 1954, when the Tolson family donated 58 acres of land to found the club. The clubhouse itself dates to the late 1920s and retains its classic character through subsequent renovations, sitting alongside an 18-hole golf course and Simpson's Lake. For weddings and receptions, the club offers exclusive use of the clubhouse, including a ballroom that seats up to 100 guests, a bar area, porches, and a dance floor.   Opened in 1927 as the Mosque Theater, Altria Theater is one of Richmond's most recognizable buildings, designed by architects Marcellus Wright, Sr., Charles M. Robinson, and Charles Custer Robinson in an Egyptian Revival style with towering minarets and desert murals. Built under the Shriners and later purchased by the City of Richmond in 1940, the theater underwent a major renovation in 1994-95 that restored its original architectural grandeur. Today the theater seats up to 3,600 guests for concerts, Broadway productions, and other live entertainment, and its private event spaces have hosted weddings, galas, trade shows, and corporate functions. The Grand Ballroom, decorated with the sweeping columns and ornamental detail original to the building, accommodates up to 800 guests seated or 1,400 standing.   Historic Jasmine is a wedding and event venue set on a historic property in Providence Forge, Virginia, in New Kent County. The property was originally patented by surveyor and Virginia House of Burgesses member George Morris in 1680, and the current manor house dates to 1750. On October 8, 1781, the house served as a headquarters for General Washington's Revolutionary Army before troops proceeded to Yorktown for the war's decisive final engagement. The Morris family held the land until 1850, and Henry and Matte Brenneman acquired the property in 1918; a mural Matte painted in the front stairwell still adorns the residence today. The Smith family purchased the property in 2005 as a bed and breakfast, hosted their first wedding that October on the Manor House's front porch, and went on to develop the property into a full-time event venue. Historic Jasmine now hosts up to 200 guests across its garden and woodland settings, including the Chapel in the Woods, the Garden Pergola, and a 40-by-60-foot reception tent with an attached pavilion, string lighting, and crystal chandeliers. The property has been in the Winslow family since 1978, and the 1884 farmhouse still stands on the land where the family once raised beef cattle. About a decade ago, the family converted an old pole barn into an event space, hosting their own daughter's wedding there before opening the venue to other couples. The barn hosts up to 150 guests for a wedding weekend, with exclusive use of the property from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Couples can hold their ceremony outdoors beneath a 200-year-old oak tree or by the pond, or indoors with the barn doors open, and reception inside the climate-controlled barn with heating and air conditioning.
