In addition to being a stunning new venue with all of the "must have" modern amenities that couples desire (wait 'til you see the bridal suite, OMG!) Willow Brook was designed to be a "green" venue. The B&B "Modern Farmhouse" is home to the most adorable bridal suite you've ever seen, complete with a coffee bar, wet bar, lounging area/flat screen television, mirrored make-up stations, and an amazing "sunset deck" to enjoy during your stay. Couples have commented that the Bridal Suite appears to have been taken straight out of an episode of Fixer Upper! Willow Brook's Groom's Quarters are also located within the "Modern Farmhouse." Among the many highlights of this space are a 60-inch television, a 9-foot shuffleboard table, a reclaimed wood bar with live edge mirror, an entertainment kitchen with an 11-foot Calacatta Quartz island, and plenty of hangout space. Off the Groom's Quarters is a grilling and fire pit area, which provides plenty of opportunities to entertain the men in your party! Willow Brook's Farmhouse provides couples with a variety of overnight package options, allowing them to completely customize their wedding experience and have the destination wedding of their dreams at the farm! In order to help our couples create their dream wedding experience, the Willow Brook family looks forward to walking alongside them.

Fort Boykin Historic Park is an 18-acre county park in Smithfield, Virginia, built around a triangular earthen fort that has stood on this bluff along the James River since colonial times. Originally christened "The Castle," the fort was constructed by colonists over roughly six months after a 1622 attack on the Bennett's Welcome and Basse's Choice settlements prompted the House of Burgesses to order a lookout fortification. It was refortified again during the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War, and today remains open for self-guided tours through its historic earthworks. Beyond its military history, the park offers natural habitat and beach access along the James River, making it a distinctive backdrop for small outdoor ceremonies and gatherings. The site accommodates rentals of 50 guests or fewer, with reservations arranged through the Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation Department. The park is open daily, March through October from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and November through February from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and guided tours can be scheduled through the Isle of Wight County Museum.

Nesselrod on the New is a thirteen-acre estate overlooking the New River in Radford, Virginia, one mile from Radford University. The property dates to 1939, when Dr. Minor Wine Thomas and Grace Nesselrodt built their Colonial Revival home — designed by architect Everett Fauber, who also worked on the Governor's Palace in Williamsburg — using stone salvaged from a decommissioned Radford train station. The family hosted a wedding on the grounds as early as 1954, and Dr. Hal and Dr. Cheryl Gillespie restored the estate and opened it as Nesselrod on the New in 1999. Today the estate offers several distinct event spaces. The Pavilion is a 4,800-square-foot covered outdoor venue seating up to 200 guests, with restrooms, a small stage, and catering facilities. The Thomas House itself holds five guest suites with private bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room, along with a stone veranda overlooking the river, giving couples and their families a place to stay on-site before and after the celebration.
