Established in 1985, the Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant occupies a multi-level space on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis — one of the Twin Cities' few venues to pair a full chef-driven menu with live music performances seven nights a week. Originally opened in St. Paul, the Dakota relocated downtown and has since become a fixture of the local arts and dining community. For private events, the venue accommodates groups from 10 to 350 guests across a main dining room, two private dining rooms, and a mezzanine. A professional Meyer Sound system, full stage with set lighting, and large-screen monitors are available for presentations and live performances. Valet parking is available on-site.

Ted Mann Concert Hall is a 1,000-seat concert auditorium at the University of Minnesota, dedicated in 1993. Designed in a traditional European shoebox style with two shallow tiers and a raised mezzanine, the hall is recognized for its acoustic excellence and overlooks the Mississippi River from the University's west bank campus in Minneapolis. The main auditorium accommodates the full range of performance programming — from lectures to full orchestral concerts — with a large fly loft, pit lifts, an adjustable proscenium arch, a flexible acoustic system, computerized lighting, and an integrated sound and video system for recording and broadcasting. James Ballentine "Uptown" VFW Post #246 is a veteran non-profit organization housed in a recently renovated mid-century building in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. Proceeds from the venue's bars and restaurant support 501(c)(3) veteran organizations. The original ballroom has been converted into a music and private event space seating 145 guests or accommodating up to 440 standing. A professional performance stage with full PA system, a massive dance floor with professional lighting — including hazers, lasers, and a disco ball — and digital video projection screens make the space well suited for corporate events, fundraisers, private parties, luncheons, and live music performances of all genres. Three separate bars are integrated throughout.
