As a former catering company and restaurant, we have our own expertly-staffed industrial kitchens on site, capable of serving up to 10,000 meals per day at full capacity. We hold an ABC Type 47 liquor license, and are pleased to serve a full bar of cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic mocktails. Amplified music is allowed late at our venue. — We wanted a place where you could dance with your best friend to that one song from college. A place where you could light sparklers while shooting off confetti cannons. A charming space to spend time with people, have some great food and tasty cocktails. Serra Plaza sits right next to San Juan Capistrano's Los Rios Historic District, is walking distance from Mission San Juan Capistrano, and the Capistrano Depot is also just steps away for out-of-town guests. Upon entry through fabric-draped loggias, the Serra Plaza Courtyard opens onto hand-laid stone pavers, a bubbling Spanish fountain, native swallows circling overhead, and adobe-style walls with old-world details reminiscent of the town’s rich history. Ceremonies take place in front of the Courtyard fountain, framed by Spanish architecture and strung with market lights. The Lounge, with dual fireplaces and an outdoor patio, hosts cocktail hour while the Courtyard transforms for dinner and dancing. Events can run until 10 PM outdoors and midnight indoors while accommodating up to 350 guests. In February 2016, we opened the doors to Brass Bear Brewing in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara, CA, one block from the ocean, featuring our high-quality craft beer, rotating guest taps, wine, sparkling wine, and cider. Locally sourced ingredients are vital to our menu. Our menu comprises locally sourced charcuterie boards, tri-tip skewers, chicken, shrimp, occasionally shark, burger, and hot toasted sandwiches. During a cross-country National Parks road trip from New York to California, the Brass Bear name was born! Coincidentally, in our favorite park. We went camping in Glacier (the kind which involves signing your life away at the ranger station and being armed with bear spray). The late afternoon sun hit the bears perfectly and turned them into a beautiful brass color. They glanced our way and with a decisive grunt carried on. We agreed over dinner that night that this would be the perfect name for our own business one day, to remind us to face our fears and keep on trekking!

Private Dining Room "Indigo" can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated dinner and 40 people for a cocktail reception. South Patio: seating for up to 60 people for dinner and up to 80 people for a cocktail reception The entire patio can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated dinner and 160 people for a cocktail reception. The entire restaurant can accommodate up to 160 people for a seated dinner and 250 people for a cocktail reception. We have multi-course menus ranging from $85 to $125 per person, plus beverages. For larger events, a restaurant buyout requires a food and beverage minimum of $17,500 - $25,000 (plus service charge and sales tax), with the amount varying depending on the season, the size of the party, and the day of the week. A Friday rehearsal dinner or a Saturday wedding (in the late spring or early fall) are both very popular choices for couples. Our guests are not charged any room fees, location fees, or rental fees for any of the services that a restaurant would normally provide. Valet parking is available for a fee of $10 per car.
