    Maison Soule & The Paris Room occupies a 22-room historic mansion at 720 Saint Louis Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, just steps from Bourbon Street. Built beginning in 1829 by French emigre Pierre Soule — a Louisiana U.S. Senator and criminal lawyer who died in the mansion's third-floor bedroom in 1870 — the property has served as an elegant manor, an orphan asylum, a jazz parlor, and a family-owned restaurant over nearly two centuries. The Paris Room, on the mansion's second floor, is available for private events of all kinds. Its ballroom features 18-foot ceilings, a private street balcony, a garden terrace, a spiral staircase, a full private bar, and a commercial kitchen.
