Universal Preservation Hall is a historic performing arts and event venue occupying a restored 1871 Methodist church in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York. The building's original High Victorian Gothic architecture — including cathedral ceilings and two-story stained glass windows — was carefully preserved through a renovation completed in 2019, while the interior was modernized with a custom sound system, movable platforms, and an elevator for full accessibility. The 7,000-square-foot venue operates across three floors. The centerpiece is the Great Hall, a second-floor theater-in-the-round with 679 seats suited for concerts, lectures, performances, and large-scale private events. The ground floor houses the Community Room, a 2,600-square-foot space with 15-foot ceilings and ornate columns for gatherings of up to 150 guests, alongside The Chapel, an intimate room for events of up to 75. Isabella Freedman Retreat Center is a kosher, pluralistic retreat center set on 400 acres in the Connecticut Berkshires, approximately two hours from New York City and three hours from Boston. The property encompasses a 20-acre organic farm, four miles of marked hiking trails, a seasonal lake, and lodge accommodations for up to 160 overnight guests — giving groups a full-campus experience from arrival through departure. When he was a student at the Berklee School of Music, he began working in the food and events sector, and eventually went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America, the nation's premier culinary school. In the years after graduating from culinary school, he has honed his abilities by working under some of the world's most celebrated chefs, including Steven Starr (Buddakhan) and Rocco D'Spirito (Union Pacific). Ari's most recent position was as General Manager of Sterling Affair, a high-end New York City off-premise catering firm that counts among its clientele members of the Rockefeller family as well as Columbia and Fordham Universities. There, he honed his management and event planning abilities even further, bringing his distinct flair and exceptional service to each and every event he planned and managed while also gaining valuable experience. Nestled along the world-renowned Battenkill River in Shushan, New York, The Georgi Park and Museum sits on nine acres of lush lawns and gorgeous gardens just west of the Vermont border.
