A Wedding at Deity is housed in a non-traditional and affordable venue located in Downtown Brooklyn. This unique setting is designed, owned and operated by a married pair. In fact, the first Deity Wedding was the marriage of it’s creators in 2007. Our romantic space provides full-service access for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner followed by a reception with DJ. Price per person is $150-$200 per person, for EVERYTHING except photographer, cake and officiant. Paragon is a 2.5 floor, 270 person capacity venue with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, conveniently located on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick, a cultural hotspot within Brooklyn NY. Above The Heights is a newly built 13,000+ SF private event space in Upper Manhattan’s premier 23-story mixed-use tower – Radio 181. Located on the 12th floor with two outdoor terraces with unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline and George Washington Bridge, the event space can host a variety of occasions from conferences, product launches, and corporate galas to weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, mitzvahs for up to 500 guests. The main space is light-filled with an outdoor terrace that can host up to 300 guests and an adjacent indoor/outdoor space (fully operational as a bar and pre-function area on its own or in conjunction with the main event space) that can host up to 150 guests. The two outdoor spaces, on the southern and northern sides, offer spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson & Harlem River, George Washington Bridge, and not to mention incredible sunsets and twinkling city lights as your backdrop.

Our beautiful Clubhouse is in every way a home. It was painstakingly repaired after being built in 1900 as a wedding gift for Maria Vanderbilt Shepard and William Jay Schieffelin. Guests and members alike appreciate the environment, which is ageless but not excessive; ideally exquisite yet welcoming. Our staff is kind and helpful, but never overbearing. The Lotos Club's elegant rooms can host a variety of corporate and social events, including an intimate dinner party for eight, a joyous wedding celebration for one hundred guests, and cocktails for 160. Seasonal menus suited to your preferences and event are available from our acclaimed cuisine. Our staff is available to assist you with every aspect, including menus, flowers, and music, so you can rest and enjoy your special day. The elite Grill Room features an Old World/New World ambiance, with classic state dinner menus honoring people who have achieved excellence throughout history at The Lotos Club. The Grill Room can seat up to 75 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 90 people for standing celebrations. The Grill Room can accommodate up to 25 people at one table for an intimate wine meal. Wedding ceremonies, talks, and receptions for up to 75 people are held in the Tennyson Room. It can also accommodate dinner parties of up to 40 people. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 100 guests for wedding receptions, meetings, lectures, and seated lunches. Wedding receptions, cocktail receptions, concerts and talks, as well as seated lunches for up to 50 guests, are all possible at the Library. The Wedgewood Suite is reserved for smaller, more intimate occasions. The Wedgwood Suite consists of the formal 17' x 22' Wedgwood Parlor, which can accommodate up to 20 people for drinks, and the beautiful 18' x 24' Wedgwood Dining Room, which can accommodate up to 30 people for supper. The Directors' Room, located across from the Wedgwood Suite, can seat 30 people for business meetings and 16 people for lunch and dinner. Our covered, heated North and East Garden patios, as well as our indoor/outdoor Pool Room, offer socially separated seating for parties of 10 to 60 people, with plenty of fresh air — perfect for micro-weddings, ceremonies and receptions, birthdays, showers, and other types of celebrations. Customized lunch and dinner prix fixe menus are prepared in collaboration with you to provide your guests with a variety of options. Our Spaces THE NORTH GARDEN is the restaurant's focal point: a covered patio that is enclosed for cold weather and serves as a lovely year-round location for small wedding ceremonies or cocktail celebrations, as well as beverages before seated dinners in the neighboring private rooms. The NORTH GARDEN can be leased in conjunction with the POOL ROOM to give additional capacity for couple's dances, cocktails, and other events. THE POOL ROOM can sit up to 52 people for a seated meal and can be paired with the NORTH GARDEN for pre-dinner cocktails, or expanded to seat up to 80 people. When the garden is accessible to other diners, the sliding frosted glass doors are closed for seclusion when a supper for up to 52 guests is planned. THE EAST GARDEN is a quiet extension of the North Garden. It is great for more private parties, holding up to 24 guests at one table for a seated lunch or dinner. It is covered year-round and enclosed for cold weather. Cocktails can be served in the North Garden before to dinner. THE FULL BUYOUT can accommodate up to 150 people and includes the main dining room, the North Garden (seen on the left enclosed and on the right unenclosed for summer), the POOL ROOM, and optionally the EAST GARDEN and BAR.

Pellegrino Artusi (1820-1911) and his self-published cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e L'Arte di Mangiare Bene are honored at L'Artusi, which opened in December 2008. (The Science of Cookery and the Art of Eating Well). L'Artusi combines comfort and innovation in a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine. Our wine list is primarily Italian, and is organized by area with a map showing DOCs and DOCGs, as well as traditional local meals, to assist demystify Italy, the world's most diversified viticultural nation. Our 110-seat restaurant has two levels of comfy banquette seating, an extended classic bar, a cheese bar, and a chef's counter with an open view of the kitchen. L'Artusi can accommodate groups of 10 to 110 people in its intimate wine room, second-floor mezzanine, or entire restaurant, making it ideal for business dinners, social gatherings, celebrations and showers, and a variety of other events. For dinner or brunch, our private Wine Cellar can seat up to 14 people, while the above mezzanine can seat up to 50 people for cocktails and seated events. As the National Maritime Union's headquarters, the nautically themed structure was originally designed by New Orleans modernist architect Albert Ledner in 1968 to serve as the union's headquarters. In the late 1940s, Ledner worked as an apprentice under the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, where he developed his own playful style. This fanciful approach to modernism was long dismissed by design purists, but The Maritime is now considered to be part of a wave of modernist architecture that is being viewed in a completely different light than it was previously.
