Find a Venue

In a place as diverse as New York City, you can expect to find your dream wedding venue — be it a traditional ballroom, eclectic museum space, or transformable warehouse. The City That Never Sleeps is home to five distinct boroughs, and plenty more one-of-a-kind neighborhoods with their own aesthetics and charms. Moreover, with so many cultural activities and premier dining spots at hand, guests will be thrilled to extend their stay and take advantage of everything this dynamic city has to offer.

New York boasts some of the most luxurious and historic hotels in the country, including The Plaza New York; The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York; Hotel Chelsea; and more. These world-class hotels feature stunning ballrooms with grand architectural details and premier service. Of course, New York is also home to impressive historical buildings that double as wedding venues. 620 Loft & Garden overlooks the awe-inspiring St. Patrick’s Cathedral, while Carnegie Hall pairs historical fixtures with dramatic windows overlooking Central Park.

New York isn’t just for history buffs, however. Couples seeking a modern aesthetic will fall in love with venues like Rainbow Room, a contemporary space perched 65 stories above the landmark Rockefeller Center. The Glasshouse, a modern blank canvas, also attracts hundreds of couples with its countless configuration possibilities and advanced amenities.

We can’t talk about New York without also mentioning the delectable private dining spots that also serve as beautiful wedding venues. From City Winery NYC - Pier 57 to Bryant Park Grill, there are countless food-forward venues that cater to couples and their families.

The city itself might be overwhelming, but planning a wedding there doesn’t have to be. Use PartySlate’s curated directory, along with the search filters, to find your ideal wedding venue in New York City. Look for the “featured” tags to learn more about PartySlate’s top recommendations, and make sure to click into a venue’s PartySlate profile to see real events hosted at their site. You can then reach out right from their profile or the directory pages.

    Broad Street Ballroom

41 Broad St, New York, NY 10004, USA

A majestic space in every sense of the word, Broad Street Ballroom, part of Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, is one of New York City’s grandest event venues. 41 Broad was built in 1928 as the Lee, Higginson, & Company Bank Building. Cross & Cross architectural firm — known as Old Society New York’s architects of choice — designed it in an austere, late 1920’s Classical Revival style, an aesthetic that defined New York City both here and in other of their designs, including 20 Exchange Place, The Guggenheim Museum, and Columbia University Church of Notre Dame. Stepping into The Ballroom is like entering another era (with the exception of the amazing audio-visual setup). Located at 41 Broad Street in the heart of New York’s historic Financial District, the Broad Street Ballroom has captivated visitors for decades with its timeless elegance. The markers of New York’s Gilded Age complement this modern event space under Cathedral-height ceilings, with its Broadway-level 200-light rigging, full concert audio system, and modern HD projector with 22-foot by 22-foot screen. Originally designed in 1928 as a bank in the Classical Revival style by renowned architects Cross & Cross, the 5,800-square-foot Ballroom is adorned with 30-foot bronze capped marble mosaic columns. The room’s particular glory is a wraparound mural by artist Griffith Baily Coale, depicting generations of sailing vessels that reflect New York’s history as a port city and celebrate the Ballroom’s location in the heart of history. The Broad Street Ballroom is a place of celebration and community for the Léman Manhattan Preparatory School. Such events include The Ballroom’s partnership with The Artists Den, the critically acclaimed television and digital music series best known for presenting small, secret concerts by extraordinary artists in non-traditional settings for the TV show Live from the Artists Den. The show connects fans with a unique and intimate musical experience for some of the industry’s finest acts. Live from the Artists Den broadcasts nationally on public television, and internationally in the UK, Japan, Germany, Australia, Canada, Israel, and Latin America.
