Poole & Company and dedicated the following year. The interior was renowned for its magnificent fan vaulting and celebrated German stained glass, among other features (from the still operating studio of Mayer of Munich, famed stained glass makers for the Holy See and Catholic churches around the world). "This church has no name, but its finely detailed neo-Gothic façade, which is prominently entered through an arcaded porch, demands attention," according to the AIA Guide to New York City.
