Chandelier Farms was originally just a fantasy of ours. We were lucky enough to bring this remarkable vision to reality with blood, sweat, and tears, as well as a dedicated team of family, friends, and skilled craftsmen. We finished it off with many great finishing touches and unique appointments after a little over a year of building. From the handcrafted vault door that welcomes you into our incredible groom's suite to the gorgeous imported chandeliers that surround the ballroom to the stunning bridal suite that exudes elegance and romance, we adore our venue. And the best part is that we're confident you will as well. Many couples have said "yes!" to Chandelier Farms since we opened in January 2021. We like everything we do, including weddings, quinceaeras, engagement parties, and photoshoots. We raise full-blooded longhorn cattle at The Barn, which is a working cattle ranch! They will probably come over to say hi. Beautiful bride and groom ready accommodations are available inside The Barn. In a gorgeous country rustic setting with lots of room to pamper you and your party in luxury, the bridal suite offers two showers, a kitchen, and spacious custom make-up stations. The males get their own suite with a big screen TV, pool table, ping pong table, and separate doors. Take a look at our images because words can not express how beautiful it is, and ask one of our property managers about staying the night in the wedding suite! Consider this: as the bride and bridesmaids are getting ready, the men are usually looking for something to do. The males can play softball or take batting practice on the full-size baseball field and batting cages! Play a round of golf on the 9-hole par-3 course! You can also use the large swimming pond, which includes a rope swing, a 300-foot zip line, and paddle boats. As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating. Not only do we intend to provide a lovely setting for celebrations, but also a location where people want to hang out and enjoy themselves. Our Ballroom is a special place for us. The Ranch's 7,000-square-foot ballroom is its crowning glory. Vista West Ranch is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Dripping Springs, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The property began as the family's homestead, cleared of cedar and hand-built over 35 years; the family hosted its own wedding on the land in 1996 and began welcoming outside couples in 2006, making it one of the earliest dedicated wedding venues in the Dripping Springs area. The venue's reception barn blends rustic and bohemian style, with weathered wood, aged tin, and willow sphere lighting, and holds up to 250 guests for dancing and celebrating.
