Scarbrough Haven is equal parts meadow, woodlands, walking trails, lakefront, nature preserve, and total mesmerization. It is genuinely a spiritual haven. The exclusive and secluded estate venue, which has been family-owned since 2007, is located 75 miles east of Dallas in Emory, TX. Our northeast Texas location spans over 800 acres and is divided into six unique parcels. A total of 65 acres are available for events ranging from small gatherings to huge gatherings. The Aurora at Scarbrough Haven event venue, an open-air chapel, a beautiful greenhouse, an art-filled tea room, wooded walking trails, and lakefront access to Lake Fork – one of the best bass fishing lakes in the United States – are just a few of the highlights. THE AURORA AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN This modern construction is based on an 1853 hand-hewn oak barn frame and features hand-crafted embellishments like shou sugi ban cladding and hand-bleached pecan floors. The interior of the building can seat 200 people. THE TEA ROOM AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN For afternoon teas, wedding, bridal, or baby showers, reunions, rehearsal dinners, or offsite work functions, this meeting area easily seats 50 people. The Scarbroughs have acquired art and souvenirs from all over the world to decorate the area. A spacious patio is perfect for outside seating, and the lawn in front of the house is perfect for tables and chairs, lawn games, or large group meetings. THE GREENHOUSE AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN This functional greenhouse was constructed in 2013 using reused materials from our property's demolished barns and buildings. Each side offers a unique perspective and will seat 80 people in a theater-style setting. THE CHAPEL AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN This floating chapel, which has no walls or a roof, is encircled by towering trees and a growing field of snowdrops, and is perfect for romantic forested outdoor celebrations. The chapel has a paved floor and can accommodate up to 80 people in a theater-style setting. The Historic Polegreen Church outside of Richmond, Virginia, which “commemorates the battle for civil and religious freedom in Colonial Virginia,” was the inspiration for this structure.

Castle Event Center brings an old-world castle setting to Lubbock, Texas, hosting weddings, receptions, graduations, birthday parties, and other celebrations. The stone castle building, complete with turret and crenellated towers, sits on a property that also features a reflection pool and fountain, giving guests a distinctive backdrop uncommon among area event venues. The Great Hall, the venue's main indoor space, includes a dance floor, a heated indoor pool, a children's games area, fountains, and a water wall, along with a full kitchen for caterer setup, ready rooms, and multiple restrooms. The mansion's eleven rooms, five bathrooms, 13-foot ceilings, and original fireplaces give indoor gatherings a period backdrop, while broad verandas wrap around both the upstairs and downstairs of the house. The Kell House Museum is a 1909 neoclassical home built by Frank Kell, one of the founding businessmen of Wichita Falls, Texas, on a hillside overlooking the developing town. Designed by the architectural firm Jones and Orlopp, the residence is distinguished by its white columns, white railings, and red brick walls. Kell and his wife, Lula Kemp Kell, raised seven children in the home, and their daughter Willie May lived there until 1980, when the Wichita County Heritage Society acquired and restored the property. Belmont Manor & Historic Park is a historic estate on nearly 68 acres in Elkridge, Maryland, operated by Howard County Recreation & Parks. Built in 1738 for Caleb and Priscilla Dorsey, the manor later passed through the Dorsey, Hanson, and Bruce families, served as a Smithsonian conference center, and was owned by the American Chemical Society and Howard Community College before the county acquired it in 2012. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Lawyers Hill Historic District. The grounds include the manor house, formal gardens, a pond, and an aqua garden with pavilions, offering several ceremony settings surrounded by mature trees and landscaped pathways. Rentals include exclusive use of the manor for up to 125 guests, garden ceremony sites, ADA-accessible pathways, and a peaked reception tent with chandeliers and a dance floor, making it a setting for weddings, celebrations, and private gatherings.

The Farm is located in southeast Texas and has a historic mansion known as "the Broussard house," which was erected in 1857. The Sevenne Broussard House, which has been wonderfully renovated, is steeped in history and a bygone era's prominence. You have a lot of alternatives when you choose Broussard Farm. Historic Broussard House is the ideal location for individuals who prefer an outside ceremony. Regardless of your color choice, the large porch and columns provide unlimited decoration opportunities.
