Cypress Falls Event Center is a Hill Country wedding and event venue in Wimberley, Texas, set along the widest stretch of Cypress Creek. Ceremonies take place creekside, with indoor and outdoor spaces built to handle Texas weather for the reception that follows, including an outdoor dance floor set beneath twinkle-lit trees. 4 North Event Center is pleased to welcome you. Weddings, reunions, anniversaries, and birthday celebrations can all be held at the 4 North Event Center, which has four unique spaces. All of the spaces have been completely rebuilt, and there are numerous restrooms and a full caterer's kitchen available. The Creswell, Creamer, Guimarin, Markaverich, and Northridge families collaborated to refurbish the Comanche County square on the north side. Two of the three structures purchased were in a state of decay and were set to be demolished. The two-story building, which had been abandoned for nearly forty years, was in fantastic condition, and the top level was a time capsule of stunning early twentieth-century design. The Knights of Pythias chapter in Comanche County used to be housed in the two-story structure. Rathbone Hall, the main event area, is named after the Knights' founder, Justus H Rathbone. These structures have held local enterprises throughout history, including the Comanche Chief newspaper, an opera house, a hardware store, women's retail fashion, and a drug store. The corner location will be occupied by Stone Eagle Beer Garden, which is set to open in 2017. Wedding receptions, reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate dinners, quinceaneras, and other events are all held at this premier event facility. Formal décor, newly remodeled, with full caterer's kitchen and bathroom amenities Indoors, there's a formal room with a rock fireplace. Moon River Ranch sits on 550 acres along the Brazos River near Waco, Texas, operating as the only wildlife ranch in the state that functions as both an animal sanctuary and a river preserve. More than 500 wild animals — including zebras, wildebeest, and oryx — live on the property year-round, giving the ranch its distinctive backdrop for weddings, corporate retreats, and social gatherings. Housed in the 1878 Millett Opera House in downtown Austin, The Austin Club occupies a building once second in size and grandeur only to Galveston's opera house, with 24-inch limestone walls, a hand-painted ceiling, and a balcony original to its performance-hall days. Notable figures from John Philip Sousa to William Jennings Bryan once appeared on its stage before the building later served as a skating rink, a Knights of Columbus hall, and a public school property. The Austin Club, founded in 1949, has leased and restored the building since 1979. Today the club hosts weddings, galas, corporate events, and private dinners across seven indoor and outdoor rental spaces, including the Medallion Ballroom, which accommodates up to 250 seated or 300 standing guests. It was originally constructed in 1904 for the C.H. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967. The front columns, which are made of Vermont granite and are two storeys tall, are a focal point. The gateway roof is supported by the columns, and the entablature that surrounds the roof is basic in design.
