Built in 1838, the Michel B. Menard House is Galveston's oldest home, a Greek Revival landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Grand Ionic columns front the house, and a collection of period antiques fills its interior, including a dining room furnished with federal-period pieces. The result is an intimate setting well suited to small weddings, receptions, dinners, and luncheons. Beyond the house itself, live-oak-shaded grounds surround a romantic gazebo that can shelter a band or buffet or serve as a podium, making the landscaped exterior a natural extension for outdoor functions. Indoors, the house welcomes up to 75 guests for a standing reception or 24 for a seated dinner, while the grounds accommodate up to 150 for a standing event. Nearby in the same Historic Menard Complex, the detached Menard Hall offers additional space for larger seated gatherings, meetings, and celebrations.

The Goldbergs are our surnames. Our family came together in the spring of 2016 to develop this venue with the goal of providing a calm setting for the most wonderful occasions. The structures were framed by brothers. The stained glass was produced by grandparents. Interior touches were put together by siblings, cousins, uncles, significant others, and friends to help bring this idea to life. We believe that the joy you experience with the people you love should be the focus of any celebration, so we're here to take care of some of the logistics. Stillwater Meadow is a wonderful event site in Aledo, Texas, called after the property's delightful pond and lovely meadow. For any wedding party to enjoy, our large site has a gorgeous wedding chapel, a tastefully fitted reception hall, and separate get-ready spaces. Wedding weekends are held at Stillwater Meadow, which provides an idyllic location. All rental packages include full access to a storage area stocked with decor for your usage. The Bridal House features a kitchen, mirrored salon, and expansive front and back porches. The Groom's Retreat is housed in a 1905 barn that has been refurbished. It has a calm ambiance as well as a patio space. Stained glass, mosaic windows, and antique pews adorn our Chapel. This medieval setting is enhanced by an ancient bronze bell and other wooden decorations. The sides of the chapel open up to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the comfort of being indoors for those who prefer to stage an outdoor ceremony. On-site, an antique rowboat can be taken out on the lake for unusual wedding picture options. The two-story Reception Hall, with its warm and inviting structure, can comfortably host up to 250 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with large chandeliers, which give a warm warmth throughout the space. This room is adaptable for event plans, allowing couples to create their own seating plan. Within this room, string lights hang from the mezzanine level, creating a lovely ambience for stunning reception events. All four buildings are climate-controlled, allowing couples to use them year-round and customize the temperature to their liking. We have a close relationship with an AirBnB on the property that sleeps 16 people and makes for the ideal after-party location. Our site is convenient to modern conveniences while still providing a serene backdrop for memorable gatherings.

We also provide photo opportunities at various different sites throughout the property. We adore life and the exciting journeys it puts us on. In Metro Washington, a Dedicated Planner Ama La Vita Events, situated in Fort Washington, MD, is a seasoned wedding planner who works throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Taria Griffin, the owner and head planner, is passionate about all things wedding. She aspires to create a totally unique celebration that you and your loved ones will never forget, inspired by your vision. Taria founded Ama La Vita Events shortly after graduating from college. She enjoys seeing couples get married in the way they've always imagined because she works in the events sector. She will take the time to get to know you and your spouse, ensuring that your big day fulfills all of your dreams. Ama La Vita Events can plan every detail of your once-in-a-lifetime event, from the engagement party through the reception. Taria's wedding packages include full-service, day-of coordination, and a la carte options. She can help with RSVP tracking, event design, the building of your wedding website, and honeymoon planning, among other things. Mayfield Park - Cottage and Gardens is a 23-acre historic property in Austin, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its centerpiece is a white cottage built between 1860 and 1880 and purchased in 1909 by Allison Mayfield, a former Texas Secretary of State and Railroad Commission chairman, whose family added the cottage's porches and a stone-and-wood pergola patio. Just under two acres of walled garden surround the cottage, with water lily and lotus ponds enclosed by antique rock walls, 32 volunteer-tended garden beds, and the largest stand of Sabal Texana palm trees north of the Rio Grande. Free-roaming peafowl, descended from birds gifted to the park in 1937, along with herons, koi, and turtles, share the grounds. The property hosts small private gatherings, including weddings, baby showers, proposals, and memorial services, as well as meetings, lectures, classes, and small retreats. Up to 45 guests may gather inside the cottage, with a maximum of 100 guests total across the cottage and gardens. Amplified sound is not permitted, and the venue does not accommodate children's birthdays, family reunions, or large public events.
