The original course was designed in 1925 by renowned architect William "Billy" Bell Sr., and the clubhouse and social spaces have been refreshed to offer a comfortable, modern setting for gatherings of all kinds. The Inn at Newport Ranch is a secluded coastal retreat set on more than 2,000 private acres along the Mendocino Coast, roughly 20 miles north of Mendocino in Fort Bragg, California. Perched where the Pacific Ocean meets a rugged, redwood-dotted ridge, the property spans seven distinct microclimates and offers one and a half miles of private coastline — a rare setting for weddings, intimate gatherings, and private events. The Inn accommodates up to 36 overnight guests and offers four event settings for groups of up to 100. Ceremonies take place on Celebration Bluff, a broad ocean-view ledge overlooking the Pacific. Receptions unfold on the West Lawn beneath a tent set against the backdrop of the historic farmhouse, or indoors in the Newport Room — a Craftsman-inspired space with windows on all sides.
