The Morton Museum of Collierville History is housed in a Gothic Revival church built in 1873, one of the town's most distinctive landmarks. The building served as the home of the Collierville Christian Church until 1992, gaining its stained-glass windows, bell tower, and decorative carpentry during a 1906 renovation that gave it its current character, including the two-story corner tower that once held the largest bell in Shelby County. Morgan Morton and his family gifted the building and grounds to the Town of Collierville in 2008, and after several years of community fundraising and volunteer work, the museum opened in June 2012. Today the museum collects, preserves, and interprets Collierville's history through a permanent exhibition space, rotating temporary exhibits, a community art gallery, and a reading room, all set within the historic sanctuary's stained-glass backdrop. The building is also available for private event rentals, giving weddings, ceremonies, and receptions an intimate, historic setting just minutes from Historic Downtown Collierville.

Couples can choose from five distinct ceremony settings on the property: an indoor Chapel Sanctuary, a two-story man-made waterfall tucked into the mountainside, a white gazebo, a wooden outdoor arbor with forest views, and an Enchanted Forest space anchored by a crystal chandelier. Ceremonies range from brief elopements for two to full celebrations for up to 60 family and friends, and the venue's own Chapel at the Park Event Center hosts on-site receptions, including an Intimate Reception room for up to 40 guests and a DIY Reception option for guests who want to bring in their own food and beverages. Packages are built around in-house minister services, professional photography, and wedding cake design, so couples can plan a ceremony without coordinating outside vendors. The property takes its name from the picturesque springs on the grounds and the Tennessee "pink marble" once quarried nearby, and it includes a collection of period structures — a tavern, kitchen, cabin, loom house, and spring house — alongside nature trails and picnic areas that give the site an authentic 18th-century backdrop for gatherings. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and recognized with an Award of Excellence and Commendation from the Tennessee Association of Museums, the site pairs that historic setting with genuine flexibility for private events. Its rural woodlands, meadows, and streams have hosted weddings and ceremonies, receptions, family picnics, company events, and birthday parties, offering hosts a natural, historically rich setting rather than a conventional event hall. The Governor John Sevier Memorial Association maintains the property, which has also served as an educational resource for area school children for more than 50 years and is a certified wildlife habitat.

The Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration developed the land, and the park takes its name from the Chickasaw Nation that once inhabited the region. Two lakes, Lake Placid and Lake LaJoie, anchor the park's recreation areas, and thirteen historic WPA cabins near Lake Placid remain in use today. For events, the park's centerpiece is the Sagamore Lodge, a stone-and-brick WPA-era building with two stone fireplaces and 1,446 square feet of space that seats up to 100 guests for weddings, family reunions, and meetings. Groups may bring in their own food, and the lodge is available year-round with central heat and air.
