  Horticultural expert Tom Tinguely lived in his country home for 25 years, manicuring his gardens and nurturing carefully chosen plants and flowers with love. In 2009 he moved downtown to be closer to his garden center, a South Congress landmark called The Great Outdoors. He stayed at the country home on the weekends, often hosting private parties for his friends and family. When Tom’s niece was engaged that same year, she searched for the perfect outdoor venue in Austin, and Tom graciously offered his magnificent gardens to host her wedding. Tom’s partner Danny Hatt, who coordinated events in Charleston, South Carolina moved to Austin in 2009 and he was eager to jump on board to take on the planning aspects of the wedding.
