Perched atop the Republic Centre — Chattanooga's tallest building — The Walden Club is a private city club founded in 1975 by a group of local business and community leaders who envisioned a place of great food, personal service, and sky-high views of the city. From the outset, the club broke with the exclusionary norms of its era, welcoming members "without consideration of their race, sex, creed, or long local lineage." Today the club serves its members' social and professional life in equal measure, hosting everything from quiet luncheon meetings and small intimate dinners to large formal private parties and dances. Four distinct rooms give it that range: the grand Ballroom for weddings and galas, the Riverview Room overlooking the Tennessee River and Signal Mountain, the contemporary Tavern for cocktail-style gatherings, and the more intimate Tennessee and Forest rooms for private dinners and smaller functions. Members and their guests also have access to full dining service, with lunch and dinner offered several days a week, all set against panoramic views of downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, and the Southside Historic District.

    • Spaces for 350 Guests

Old Glory Distilling Co. is a grain-to-glass Tennessee bourbon and whiskey distillery in Clarksville, founded by Matt Cunningham, a former Clarksville firefighter who built the company at age 22 to reflect the community's values of hard work, patriotism, and resilience. Every stage of production happens on site, from grinding and fermenting to distilling and aging, using grains sourced from local farmers and the traditional Lincoln County Process of sugar maple charcoal filtration. Beyond the distillery itself, the property has grown into a full hospitality destination, with a bottle shop and tasting room, an on-site restaurant, and the outdoor Silo Park, where guests gather over food, cocktails, and live music. The venue hosts private events and gatherings across these spaces, backed by an in-house kitchen and an events team that helps plan everything from business meetings to rehearsal dinners. Guided distillery tours are also available, giving visitors a firsthand look at the grain-to-glory production process before browsing the bottle shop's full spirit lineup, including releases sold only at the distillery.

For private events, the museum's Ann and Steve Bailey Hall transforms into a reception space for weddings, reunions, and fundraisers, accommodating up to 250 guests standing or 200 for a seated dinner. The Bailey Hall and its adjoining South Garden and June and Rob Heller North Garden are also available for after-hours rentals, giving evening events a mix of indoor and garden settings. The space retains its original wood beams, brick walls, and 18-foot ceilings, with large glass windows that fill the rooms with natural light. A nonprofit rental venue and active exhibition space, The Emporium showcases local and regional artists year-round through changing gallery exhibitions, so events here unfold alongside rotating art shows. The flexible, two-level space accommodates up to 150 guests for seated receptions and 300 guests for standing receptions when both levels are combined; for a ceremony and reception held together, the venue works best for 125 guests or fewer. It's available to individuals, nonprofits, and other organizations for dinners, receptions, fundraisers, and wedding ceremonies. Renters can bring in caterers and vendors of their choosing, and the building offers ample electrical outlets to support a band, DJ, photo booth, and event lighting.
