Jones Landing is an oceanfront bar, restaurant, and event venue situated on Peaks Island in Casco Bay, Maine — steps from the island's ferry terminal. The property has operated in various forms since the early 1900s, originally serving as the car ferry dock for Peaks Island, and was purchased by Robin and George Clark in 1981. The venue offers a range of connected spaces suited to weddings, celebrations, and corporate retreats: an indoor casual dining room, a large covered deck with clear sides that preserve harbor views in any weather, an outdoor bar, and an open oceanside lawn. The combination allows guests to move between sheltered and open-air settings while overlooking Casco Bay throughout. The Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit stewards the history of two coastal Maine towns from a landmark 1862 Meetinghouse on Route 1 in Wells. The building — an intact example of Gothic Revival architecture listed on the National Register of Historic Places — has anchored the site since 1662 and houses the organization's museum and research library alongside a program of exhibits and community events. The Meetinghouse is available to rent for weddings and ceremonies. Its light-filled sanctuary accommodates 225 to 250 seated guests along two aisles, and the space retains original nineteenth-century features including wood floors, a vintage pump organ, chandeliers, and an electronic keyboard. Because the building operates as a historic property rather than a house of worship, there are no denomination restrictions. On-site parking in the driveway is supplemented by an adjacent lot.

Merryspring Nature Center is a 66-acre nature sanctuary and event venue in Camden, Maine, founded in 1974 by horticulturist Mary Ellen Ross. The grounds encompass cultivated gardens, approximately four miles of forest and meadow trails, the Kitty Todd Arboretum, and the Ross Center visitor facility — offering a distinctive natural setting for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate gatherings of up to 200 guests. Events take place across the park's manicured lawns and garden areas, with the outdoor hexagonal pavilion serving as an intimate gathering point and tent space accommodating larger receptions. The Ross Center provides an indoor conference room with kitchen and restroom access, along with tables and seating for up to 30. In season, with advance approval, a Surplus Guest Fee allows for events with more than 101 guests up to a maximum of 150 guests in order to compensate for the additional staffing and wear on the estate caused by larger events. During the off-season, we can accommodate groups as small as 20 people. Our family moved to this location ninety years ago, drawn by the natural beauty that has remained unchanged. Today, we rent out our estate as a vacation rental on the coast of Maine to guests looking for a relaxing getaway. We are stewards of the tradition of hosting private milestone gatherings and wedding celebrations on the shores of Penobscot Bay in this location. This gives us the opportunity to share this wondrous gift with our guests while also preserving this one-of-a-kind property and ensuring that it will be enjoyed by future generations. Ketcha Outdoors is a year-round nonprofit on 107 acres in Scarborough, Maine, offering indoor and outdoor event rental space alongside its youth programs. The property's natural setting — open fields, forest trails, and a working barn — gives weddings, reunions, and corporate gatherings a distinctly unpretentious character that is hard to find in traditional event venues. The centerpiece for indoor celebrations is the Great Room, a 2,200-square-foot space with hardwood floors, a 30-foot vaulted ceiling, large windows overlooking the grounds, and a massive stone fireplace. It seats up to 150 guests and connects through sliding doors to the adjacent Conference Room, which seats 40 or more and works well as a breakout or cocktail space. Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center sits on 50 acres in Hallowell, Maine, on land first cleared in the late 1700s and farmed continuously through the 20th century. The main house was built in 1906 and converted to a bed-and-breakfast in 1988; a major renovation in 2001 added guest rooms and restored the Carriage House. In 2005, the property became Maine's first certified Environmental Leader in green lodging, and it has since added solar systems and a wind turbine. Harborfields Waterfront Vacation Cottages sits on the west side of Boothbay Harbor in West Boothbay Harbor, Maine, on land the Thorpe family has held since 1832. The vacation business began in 1948 when Dick and Peggy Thorpe built the Lodge and Shore Cottage, and the property has operated continuously since — now under the care of Wendy Thorpe, Peggy's granddaughter, who grew up on the grounds and returned to lead the property in 2012. The property encompasses ten cottages ranging from studios to six-bedroom accommodations, a deep-water dock, and sweeping harbor views throughout. For weddings and private events, Harborfields offers several distinct settings: the front lawn arranges in a natural amphitheater style for waterfront ceremonies of up to 150 guests, the Farmhouse South Lawn overlooks a wildflower meadow and West Harbor's Back Cove for receptions of approximately 100, the rustic Boat Barn provides covered space with character, and the Lodge's large living room accommodates intimate gatherings of up to 40.
