Set 15 miles from Vail within the White River National Forest, Camp Hale Weddings occupies historically significant grounds once home to 15,000 soldiers of the 10th Mountain Army Division during World War II — the same soldiers who returned from service abroad to help establish Colorado's ski industry, including Vail Mountain itself. Today, the property offers an outdoor mountain wedding setting at elevation, surrounded by aspen and pine groves with 12,000-foot peaks as backdrop and the Eagle River running through the site. The venue accommodates up to 250 guests across two distinct spaces: a ceremony island set on the Eagle River featuring log benches, a four-post wooden arch, and a PA sound system, and a 40-by-80-foot white-frame reception tent with wood-stamped concrete flooring, festival lights, a full-ceiling white liner, and forced-air heat. Two complimentary log cabins — each with two bedrooms, a full bath, and a kitchen — are included with all bookings. Camp Hale hosts traditional weddings, micro-weddings, elopements, weekend buyouts, and private dinners. All alcohol is provided and served directly by the venue's staff. An outside professional event planner is required for all events.

Matsuhisa Vail opened in 2011 as Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's second Colorado restaurant, situated in the five-star Solaris development at the heart of Vail Village. A seasonal outdoor patio extends the dining experience during warmer months. Chef Nobu's new-style Japanese cuisine draws from classical training in Tokyo and formative years cooking in Peru, Argentina, and beyond, arriving on the plate as something distinct — dishes like Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño have become signatures of that approach. For private gatherings, Matsuhisa Vail offers a dedicated large private dining room, several semi-private areas, and a seasonal mountain-view terrace, together accommodating seated groups from an intimate 14 to 75 and receptions up to 125.
