Norris Dam State Park spans over 4,000 acres between the Cumberland and Appalachian ranges, set along the shores of Norris Lake. The park takes its name from Senator George Norris, whose advocacy helped bring about the Tennessee Valley Authority; Norris Dam itself was completed in 1936 as part of the New Deal. Much of the park's historic character comes from the Civilian Conservation Corps, which built several of its structures in the 1930s, including cabins now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For gatherings, the park's Tea Room is a longtime favorite for weddings, receptions, company dinners, and catered events. Built by the CCC, it has a two-tier floor plan, a full kitchen, cathedral ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a wooden deck overlooking the woods toward the lake, with seating for up to 100 guests. The Appalachian Event Center offers a separate space suited to large business meetings, bridal and baby showers, and family reunions, while the Conference Room in the park office accommodates smaller meetings. Two picnic pavilions in the historic district, both wired with electricity, round out the park's options for casual outdoor gatherings. Beyond its event spaces, Norris Dam State Park is a destination in its own right, with more than 30 miles of hiking trails, boating and fishing on Norris Lake, and cultural sites including the Lenoir Museum, an 18th-century Rice Grist Mill, and the Crosby Threshing Barn.

Chapel at the Park sits on a 3-acre estate bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, offering couples a choice of five distinct ceremony settings across a single wooded property. Vows can be exchanged in the chapel sanctuary, beside a two-story waterfall, beneath a white gazebo, along an arbor with mountain views, or in an enchanted forest setting decorated with a crystal chandelier — with the chapel serving as a covered backup should weather turn. The venue's all-inclusive packages bundle a minister, photographer, and wedding coordinator with the ceremony space itself, and range from short elopement bookings for the couple alone up to two-hour celebrations for as many as 60 family and friends. Silk florals, cakes, and on-site lodging options are built into several of the packages, letting couples handle much of the planning in a single booking. Midnight, the chapel's resident rescued black cat, is a familiar presence at ceremonies, often appearing for photos and greeting guests on the grounds.

The building served as the home of the Collierville Christian Church until 1992, gaining its stained-glass windows, bell tower, and decorative carpentry during a 1906 renovation that gave it its current character, including the two-story corner tower that once held the largest bell in Shelby County. Morgan Morton and his family gifted the building and grounds to the Town of Collierville in 2008, and after several years of community fundraising and volunteer work, the museum opened in June 2012. Today the museum collects, preserves, and interprets Collierville's history through a permanent exhibition space, rotating temporary exhibits, a community art gallery, and a reading room, all set within the historic sanctuary's stained-glass backdrop. The building is also available for private event rentals, giving weddings, ceremonies, and receptions an intimate, historic setting just minutes from Historic Downtown Collierville.
