Large doors open onto adjacent outdoor areas, so a toast or cocktail hour can move outside as easily as it stays in, and the venue sits close enough to Seabrook's parks and walking paths that guests are only steps from more of the town once the doors close. Colorado River State Historic Park occupies 10 acres in Yuma, Arizona, on the grounds of the former U.S. Army Quartermaster Depot established in 1864. Five of the original depot buildings remain, making it one of the best-preserved collections of 19th-century military architecture in the state. The park was renamed from Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park in 2017 and opened to the public in 1997 after seven years of reconstruction. Burnside Plantation is a historic 6.5-acre farm property in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, established in 1748 by James and Mary Burnside and later operated as a Moravian Church communal farm. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and retains its 18th- and 19th-century character, with a farmhouse dating to 1748 and 1818, a summer kitchen, two 1840s bank barns known as the Johnson Barn and Haas Barn, a kitchen garden, an orchard, and one of the only remaining working High Horse-Power wheels in the country. For events, Burnside Plantation offers an outdoor setting of meadows, gardens, and rustic barns that suits weddings, ceremonies, corporate gatherings, and other celebrations. Once home to the Sterling Garden Center, the property today comprises three distinct event buildings — The Hall, 300 Senate, and 302 Senate — alongside two adjacent outdoor wedding gardens with cobblestone aisles and a forest backdrop. Each building opens onto its own deck or patio, giving couples the option of an indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception experience, and bridal packages are available for those pairing an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. Dupre Catering & Events provides exclusive, in-house full-service catering for every venue on the property, supplying food, drinks, bar service, tables, chairs, and servers as part of the planning.
