Art on the Brink. The largest and most active museum glass workshop on the West Coast provides an opportunity to see and experience modern glass art. The Museum, which is located on the Thea Foss Waterway in downtown Tacoma, provides a variety of indoor and outdoor areas, as well as exclusive access to the Museum's galleries, making it a great location for a memorable event. The Hot Shop Amphitheater, which is a functioning glass workshop, is housed within the Museum's 90-foot-tall cone. It is the Museum's hallmark area and will elevate your event to a higher level by allowing your guests to witness artisans produce works of art from molten glass while they are there. The Hot Shop rental fee includes the services of a team of glassblowers for the length of the event. LeMay – America's Car Museum is a nonprofit automotive museum in Tacoma, Washington, built around the LeMay Collection — once the largest privately owned automobile collection in the world, numbering more than 3,000 vehicles at its peak. The 165,000-square-foot facility opened in 2012 adjacent to the Tacoma Dome, just off Interstate 5, and was cited by USA TODAY as one of the top eight cultural attractions in the world to open that year. It was no surprise when Houdini hurled the deck of cards to the ceiling, but no one anticipated one of the cards to become stuck to a beam. The Ace of Spades, on the other hand, did. It was the exact card that Houdini's host had selected from the deck and inserted just before Houdini launched them into the air before they were able to catch their breath. In honor of the host, C.D Stimson, a prominent member of Seattle's early business and social communities, the card was kept on display in his home for the following twenty years. Willows Lodge was his hunting camp, and it was where he spent much of his time. The Stimsons, as well as numerous other prominent families from Seattle, had country estates in the valley near the current location of Willows Lodge. They reportedly partied, relaxed, hunted ducks, and created substantial business concepts on a regular basis, according to reports. It felt appropriate to carry on the name and spirit of the old Willows Lodge with the new Willows Lodge. An extensive photo collection at the hotel's special event room depicts the early years of the valley's development. Although the current Lodge, which opened in September 2000, is open to the public and guests are more frequently looking for a nice bottle of wine than a duck, it remains a "country place" committed to superb meals, a warm fire, relaxation, romance, and inspiring business deals, among other things. Redhook Brewlab’s concept is an intersection of Seattle history and culture, a place where the city’s eclectic influences mix – art, science, brewing, food, and music. Housed within the Pike Motorworks Building, Brewlab’s space is an open modern brewery and pub concept with an abundance of natural light. A focal point inside the brewpub is a custom mural by Grammy-nominated Seattle illustrator and Sub Pop Records Art Director Sasha Barr. The mural, which spans 14’ x 18’ on the wall near the front bar, is a colorful visual collage combining the city environment, people, beer, Seattle architecture, and elements from the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Large patios in the front and back of the space increase the seating capacity from 171 to 258, making the Redhook Brewlab’s total outdoor patio space the largest in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The back patio features two firepits for a cozy beer drinking experience, and both patios will be open as weather allows.

Meridian Valley Country Club opened its doors for the first time on July 1, 1967. Despite the fact that there was just a temporary clubhouse and only nine of the 18 holes were available for play on that Saturday morning, those who teed it up did so again and again. Despite the fact that the fairway grass was well on its way to reaching full maturity, the theme of the day was "Take No Divots" since all shots were needed to be taken from tees. The opening day regulation had no effect on the level of competitiveness on the first day. The second nine holes, as well as the permanent clubhouse, were dedicated in May 1968 with a similar amount of hoopla. Several substantial modifications have been made to the golf course throughout the years, including irrigation, drainage, and a large number of flowering trees and plants. The course is currently open all year round and plays "dry." Meridian Valley Country Club has been a gathering place for members and guests to commemorate life's most important occasions since 1967. Covington Cellars began as a hobby in a garage in Covington, Washington, before its founders, Cindy and David, turned their passion for winemaking into a business in 2002. The winery later relocated production to Woodinville, becoming the 19th winery to open in what has grown into a major wine destination. Its Woodinville tasting room sits in the Artisan Hill District, alongside a related tasting room in nearby Maltby, where the wine is produced. The Woodinville location offers two settings for private gatherings: a cozy space suited to smaller groups of 10 to 25 guests, and a larger space that can hold up to 120, with room for live music. A commercial kitchen on site allows for easy food service, and an optional kids' play space is available, making the venue workable for birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, corporate retreats, and wine club celebrations alike. On-premise chefs are on hand to help design a menu for private events. Covington Cellars also hosts a recurring lineup of Friday evening live music nights in Woodinville, pairing wine and food with local bands.

The lakeside deck at Wapato Park Pavilion looks out over Wapato Lake, giving guests a water-and-forest view right from the rental space. It's the pavilion's centerpiece, linking the enclosed hall to the lake below. The pavilion sits inside Wapato Park in Tacoma, part of a lake-and-forest setting that includes a 0.9-mile walking trail. The building holds up to 55 guests, with folding tables and chairs included in every rental. Upstairs, a kitchenette offers a sink, counter space, and electricity for events, though there's no full kitchen or barbecue. A chair lift provides access to the second floor. Rentals run June through September, with a four-hour minimum.
