Harlow's is a restaurant and nightclub located at 2708 J Street in Midtown Sacramento, California. Originally opened in 1982 as a cafe, the venue gradually expanded into a full-service restaurant before finding its identity when live music was introduced — a transformation the venue describes as the moment it "found its soul." Over four decades, Harlow's has grown into a cornerstone of Sacramento's independent music and events scene, hosting national touring acts alongside emerging local talent. The venue encompasses three distinct event spaces. The Main Room accommodates up to 300 guests for standing receptions and up to 120 for seated dinners, featuring a full bar, a stage for live music or DJ performances, and a spacious dance floor. The Starlet Room, located upstairs, is a more intimate space suited for gatherings of 65 to 200 guests and offers a stage, dance floor, and full bar. An outdoor Patio rounds out the venue, providing a covered setting with multiple fire pits, heat lamps, a three-tier fountain, and its own full bar — well suited for ceremonies, brunches, and open-air receptions. In-house catering is required for all private events. Harlow's is a Live Independent Certified venue and a member of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), and co-founded the California Capitol Venue Coalition to advocate for Sacramento's independent entertainment community.

780 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA
    • Spaces for 200-300 Guests
    • 1 Restaurant

The View Lounge reopened its doors in January 2015 after undergoing extensive renovations. When you arrive at the restaurant, you will be greeted by a panoramic view of the city of San Francisco from above. This is also the reason why the restaurant is named The View Lounge; it is uncommon for a restaurant to be located on the 39th floor of a high-rise building, allowing you to take in the unique beauty of the poetic city. Furthermore, it is not only the exterior of the building that establishes the brand, but it is also the interior design that encourages diners to return. The interior design and decoration, which are inspired by Art Deco, are in the artistic style. With scenes like this, the already delectable food and beverages will be elevated to an even higher level of excellence. Tourists, locals, and anyone else who wants to be immersed in the glistening scenery of the city and the artistic atmosphere are drawn to the restaurant by its unique atmosphere. If you have the opportunity to visit San Francisco, you may find The View Lounge restaurant to be a wonderful place to enjoy your meal while taking in the beautiful views and excellent service. In addition to its convenient location in the heart of downtown San Francisco (at 780 Mission Street in the San Francisco Marriott Marquis), the restaurant offers a variety of other amenities. The View Lounge is easily identifiable because it is in close proximity to popular tourist attractions such as Lombard Street, Pier 39, Chinatown, the Exploratorium, and Little Italy. After you've finished your meal, you can go for a walk around the city with your friends and family to get a feel for the place.

    Birdsong

1085 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA

"Because each new generation is unable to comprehend what was taken from them, they are willing to settle with less and less of the genuine article as time goes on." The name Michael Frome Three things: sustenance, identity, and art. Although it encompasses all of those things, the core notion that underpins our cooking is that food is a vehicle for the transmission of values, knowledge, and tradition. The methods in which we cook are influenced by the situation in which we find ourselves, both in terms of space and time. This helps us hold on to the knowledge of the past while leaving opportunity for development as our perspective of the world changes. On our menu, we emphasize using foods in the most unprocessed and natural state that we are able to locate them in. This almost often refers to seasonal produce, which, as a result, indicates that the foods in question are at their peak of quality and taste. The fact that we can eat properly because of the sacrifices made by those who raise local veggies and entire animals brings this home to us. When we carry out our work, we recognize the weight of that obligation, which we respect and carry with us. Cooking is a way for us to honor the people who provide us with nutrition, our heritage, and our craft, and most importantly, the food that we create. When you walk out of Birdsong, we want you to feel the same way that we do—a little more connected, a little lighter (in spirit), and a little more happy and delighted than when you went in. Every occasion enhanced with Birdsong becomes more special and unforgettable. Our Reservations Page has a link that can be used to make reservations for groups of four or less people. Please click the link below for any enquiries involving more than 4 guests, and a member of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

Built in 1915 as part of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium derives its name from the late impresario Bill Graham, who began the rock ‘n roll movement in San Francisco in the 1960s. The historic building has hosted a multitude of significant cultural events, including the Democratic National Convention in 1920, a speech from Martin Luther King Jr. to the NAACP in 1956, and served as the Golden State Warriors’ home court from 1964 to 1966. President Barack Obama was a guest of the venue both in 2007 and 2012 for campaign speeches, and the Dalai Lama offered two days of teachings in 2007. As the exclusive promoter, Another Planet Entertainment manages the building with respect to its rich history and keeps the venue active with hundreds of concerts and special events. In preparation for our much-anticipated return to live concerts and our commitment to producing safe events, all patrons attending concerts at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium will need to show proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours from the time of entry to the venue. We encourage fans attending our events to plan ahead and arrive early, as heavy traffic is often experienced in the area. Palette

816 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA

Chef Peter Hemsley's Palette is a fish-focused fine dining establishment that can be found tucked away in San Francisco's SoMa area. The restaurant offers a fresh take on traditional seafood preparations. Our products and services are based on the dynamic link that exists between the water and the city. In 2019, Hemsley launched Palette with the intention of conveying his unwavering commitment to the art he creates. His "Cal Coastal" culinary philosophy is founded on a profound reverence for the sea and is expressed via the use of seafood and produce that are both fresh and in season. The guests will be able to experience this enthusiasm on the plate as a result of the establishment of strong ties with committed regional purveyors. After receiving his diploma from the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris, Peter went on to develop his abilities at the renowned kitchens of Daniel Boulud in New York, Michael Tusk in San Francisco, and L'Arpege in Paris, all of which were owned by Alain Passard. With this, Hemsley's first endeavor under his own name, he reveals a universe of cuisine that is uniquely his own. His interest in the ocean and all of its varied tastes stems from his upbringing in the Midwest and his desire to learn more about a resource that is tremendously expansive, deeply moving, and poorly understood by people. He is originally from the Midwest. "In order to demonstrate our appreciation, we make every effort to collaborate directly with local fisherman who are self-employed, such as Josh Churchman in Bolinas, Adam Aliotti in Monterey, and Kelly Fukushima in San Diego. These "shepherds of the ocean" deliver items that are of the highest quality and are fished in a sustainable manner, and they do so straight from the source. As a demonstration of our gratitude and commitment to sustainable practices, we don't waste any of the fish that comes through our doors.

    16th Street Station

    San Francisco, CA, USA

West Oakland, California's 16th Street Station is a historic landmark that dates back to the late nineteenth century. At this time, we are not renting the interior space of the building, and we are only renting the area immediately surrounding the building. As a backdrop, the site boasts a magnificent Main Hall that is truly breath-taking. The 16th Street Station will no longer be taking any rental commitments for events that will take place within the Station. Rental of outside areas is still available. Please inquire. The 16th Street Station, which opened on August 1, 1912, marked the beginning of West Oakland as the city's gateway. The Station, which was constructed for $300,000 by the Southern Pacific Railway and designed by Chicago architect Jarvis Hunt, was built by the railroad for $300,000. That same year, the Station was featured in Western Architect magazine. The Station served as the western terminus of the transcontinental railway system, and was the last stop on the Western line. Even as recently as the 1950s, Southern Pacific was one of Oakland's most significant private sector employers. By the 1960s, the railroad company had realized that their primary source of revenue was freight transportation rather than passenger travel. However, in the early years, the usage was quite different from what it is today.
