Freaky Tiki Boat Charters is a private floating event venue for celebrations on Fort Lauderdale's Intracoastal Waterway. One 40-foot U.S. Coast Guard-inspected boat hosts groups of 1–22 guests for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 hours with a licensed captain and mate. The BYOB-friendly setup includes two coolers with ice, Bluetooth sound, covered seating, a private onboard bathroom, and a floating mat for swim stops when conditions allow. The boat is popular for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family gatherings, corporate outings, and casual celebrations. Reservations are required. The Moore House is a 130-year-old landmark in the heart of the Kenwood Neighborhood. Eight bedrooms, Four Floors, and a story woven into the fabric of Minneapolis itself. The Moore House Minneapolis is the perfect spot for your intimate, elevated experience. We specialize in event and vacation rentals, and can combine the two for something truly one of a kind. Originally designed and built in 1892 by Minneapolis architect Edward Somerby Stebbins, the house is more widely known as the “Mary Tyler Moore House”. The exterior was used for the fictitious 119 North Weatherly address that Mary moved to when she arrived in Minneapolis, and the opening credits show Mary leaving the home to head to her job at WJM-TV. At that time of the show's recording (1970-1977), the area behind the iconic windows was just an unfinished attic, but now features a comfortable family room, with nods to her legendary residency. Whether you’re here for the nostalgia of the “Mary Tyler Moore Show” or looking for a classic historic backdrop to host an event, we’re happy you’re here. History and tradition, like its namesake, influence Vincent Chicco's now-modern take on classic Italian-American dishes. Vincent Chicco's is a peaceful sanctuary tucked back on Hutson Alley, serving exquisite Italian food with fresh ingredients, handmade pastas, and house-made sauces. During the prohibition era, Vincent Chicco, an Italian immigrant to Charleston, managed a number of saloons and was a leader in the local anti-prohibition movement. Chicco's arrest was the first since Governor Tillman signed a dispensary law. Because many Charlestonians opposed the law, Chicco's arrest became well-known. Vincent Chicco's is thrilled to serve enhanced old-world authentic Italian cuisine that pays tribute to one of Charleston's forgotten heroes.
