The Corley Ranch is a working cattle and hay ranch spanning nearly 300 acres in Nevada's Carson Valley, just outside Gardnerville. The property sits against open pasture with views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including Job's Peak, with easy access from Reno, Carson City, and South Lake Tahoe. Owner Cilla acquired the property, once the Sky Acres Girl Scout Camp, in 2003 and has spent years renovating it while keeping it in use as a working farm. Red Barn Farms occupies a working century farm in the Palouse region of southeastern Washington, twelve miles south of Pullman. Established in 1901 by Christine and Florent Meyer, the property has passed through four generations of the same family; current stewards Ty and Kay Meyer converted the farm into an event venue in 2007. The centerpiece is the original barn, its timber frame built from fir harvested on nearby Moscow Mountain more than a century ago. Renovations added a new floor and foundation, repaired the original joists, and introduced lighting and indoor restrooms, while leaving the timber framing and barn wood exposed throughout the reception space. Cafe lights and lanterns hang overhead, and the barn's doors open onto a covered front patio that doubles as a second dance floor. Guests move from a terraced ceremony area overlooking the rolling hills, entered through the barn's grand double doors, into the barn itself for dinner and dancing, with an adjacent courtyard and patio extending the layout for cocktail hour, yard games, and larger gatherings. Four acres of landscaped grounds, including lavender and wheat fields, surround the buildings, and a separate structure called The Suites provides wedding-party preparation space, a kitchen, and meeting rooms.

Earlier this spring, Old Bison Ranch completed an expansion that included a big Celebration Hall with a capacity of six thousand square feet that was heated and cooled. However, you will not have the impression that you are in a building. With views of the pecan orchard and Old Bison Lake from every room, the Hall is a sight to see. A pergola and a wraparound deck have been constructed to the backyard to increase the size of the outdoor entertaining space. There's more to it than that. We've constructed a beautiful bridal cottage with a view of the ceremony area.. A unique event location located in Forreston, Texas and tucked among six hundred acres of woodland splendor, Old Bison Ranch is a one-of-a-kind venue. A large number of mature trees and lovely green meadows may be seen here. The beautiful ceremony spot is placed beneath a mature tall pecan tree with a meandering pond as a backdrop, creating an idyllic setting.
