Mile Marker One is a waterfront restaurant and private event venue at Cape Ann Marina in Gloucester, Massachusetts, about 40 miles north of Boston. Positioned at the historic start of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, the restaurant overlooks the Annisquam River, marina docks, and Gloucester Harbor — bringing panoramic water views into both its dining and event spaces. Two dedicated spaces accommodate a range of group sizes. The Compass Room is a private second-floor venue for up to 55 guests, with its own entrance, a full-service bar, and wide windows framing the salt marsh, marina docks, and river — well suited to rehearsal dinners, showers, birthday celebrations, and intimate corporate gatherings. The Schooner Thomas E. Lannon is a 65-foot Essex-built fishing schooner docked at Seven Seas Wharf in downtown Gloucester, Massachusetts. Built in 1997 in Essex, the vessel sails from mid-May through mid-October, offering guests a glimpse of what it was like to work aboard a Gloucester fishing schooner a century ago — crew assistance and an invitation to help raise the sails included. For private events, the Lannon accommodates up to 49 guests on an exclusive charter, with a captain, crew, and beverage service attendant on board. Weddings, corporate outings, anniversary and birthday celebrations, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and memorial services are among the occasions the vessel regularly hosts. Catering can be arranged through the adjacent Gloucester House Restaurant — including lobster bakes — or through a caterer of the client's choosing. A full liquor license is maintained on board.

Guests at Woods Hill Pier 4 can enjoy food that is both delicious and environmentally friendly, thanks to Chef Charlie. All of the elements of the restaurant demonstrate the high level of quality that can only be achieved through a complete dedication to both craft and careful sourcing of the ingredients and ingredients. Woods Hill Pier 4 joins the Woods Hill Table and Adelita restaurants in Concord, Massachusetts, as part of the Woods Hill Restaurant Group. Owner Kristin Canty purchased the Farm at Woods Hill in Bath, NH in 2013 to support her restaurants. Currently, it provides food, inspiration, and commitment to eating sustainably sourced food for Chef Charlie at Woods Hill Pier 4. Among other things, the Farm at Woods Hill, is responsible for raising cattle, pigs, broiler chickens, egg-laying hens, lambs, and growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. The farm has been practicing organic farming since they began planting in 2013, and they are currently working toward USDA certification.

We are able to host up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception or dinner for 120 guests. THE WASHINGTON JUNIOR BALLROOM This contemporary, second-floor venue features floor-to-ceiling windows, lace wood, fabric walls and other elegant touches. Ideal for a reception of 150 guests, the space can also be separated into two smaller, equal rooms. THE AVERY AND TREMONT ROOMS Smaller weddings find the attention they deserve in these two spaces, which are ideal for combining a ceremony and reception. The Tremont can host 25 people for a ceremony while the Avery, with a wall of windows, gold-toned fabric walls and sheer window treatments can host dinner for 30. THE HAMILTON ROOM This elegant space was designed to accommodate ceremonies of 150 guests or dinner and dancing for 60.

Our aim for the space was to feel more New York or London than Boston--moody lighting, viby music, big urban windows, mid centruy modern wood furniture, plants, retail, upscale winery decor. We have a 14-seat mid-century modern oak bar, an 60-seat dining area with matching tables, and cozy lounge area that seats up to 16. We can re-arrange the space to accomidate additional standing/dance/presentation areas. We can accommidate up to 95 seated + standing in our space, with the potential to accomidate larger events in partnership with Boston Public Market. Our venue works perfectly for anything from small business lunches and team offsites, to bridal/baby showers, to special parties, to small weddings, and more.
