Acme Feed and Seed occupies a Nashville landmark on Lower Broadway built in 1890, a building that spent more than fifty years as Acme Feed & Hatchery, a local farm supply store known for its Grand Ole Opry appearances, before sitting vacant and reopening in 2014 as a restaurant, live music venue, and event space. The building's history is still visible throughout, from exposed brick walls to reclaimed wood details that give the venue its character. The venue spans multiple floors, each suited to a different kind of gathering. The second floor works well for semi-private cocktail parties, launch events, and networking gatherings, with booths and lounge seating for guests. The rooftop offers views over the city for cocktail hours and casual celebrations. Etch is the ideal venue for hosting private dining events, whether you're planning a business meeting or a cocktail celebration. Etch can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time. There are two private dining rooms available, each with its own exclusive menu and complimentary access to the Internet. To reserve one of our private event venues, you will need to fill out a contract and satisfy a minimum threshold for the amount of food and beverages you will serve. On Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m., there are a limited number of seating options available in the Encore Room; however, both rooms are available for lunch and supper parties. It is possible to reserve a private dining area for either 2.5 or 3.5 hours at a time. You are required to make arrangements at the time of booking if you require more time for your event, and those arrangements are subject to availability. The Stables at Husk is a private dining and events area that is housed in our historic carriage house. This venue provides guests with the opportunity to participate in a unique and exclusive Husk experience. The Stables is a cozy ambiance that is perfect for any event because it has its own kitchen, bathroom, and patio that is separate from the main restaurant. The room is large enough to accommodate up to 16 guests for brunch service, 28 guests for a meal served at tables, or 30 to 35 guests for a cocktail party that is standing only. For parties with a size that exceeds the capacity of our private dining area, we are able to provide a buyout of the entire restaurant, including the main house. The Neighborhood Dining Group's Husk restaurant is changing people's conceptions of what it means to cook and dine in Nashville. In the heart of Downtown Nashville, in the neighborhood of Rutledge Hill, and only a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, is where you'll find it. The menu at Husk delves into a cuisine that is driven by the ingredients and begins with the rediscovery of heirloom items. At Husk, there are limitations placed on the types of foods that can be served on the plate. If it does not come from the south, it will not be able to enter the building. The end result is a cuisine that, rather than attempting to rediscover Southern cookery, investigates the authenticity of Southern food. The Union Station Nashville Yards occupies a former L&N Railroad terminal at 1001 Broadway, built in 1900 in a heavy-stone Richardsonian-Romanesque style complete with a clock tower and a statue of Mercy, the Roman deity of merchants and travelers. The terminal closed in 1979, and since 1986 the building has operated as a luxury boutique hotel and special event destination, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Historic Hotel of America. The centerpiece is the Grand Lobby, topped by a 65-foot barrel-vaulted ceiling with gold-leaf medallions and original luminous prism stained glass, and named one of the "Best Hotel Lobbies in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler. Marble floors, oak-accented woodwork, three limestone fireplaces, and gold-accented bas-relief angel figurines round out the space, which can host up to 300 guests for a reception. Best known for its 175-plus hands-on exhibits and the state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium, the center opens its 56,000 square feet of exhibit halls for private events after hours and on the days it's closed to the public. Event spaces range from the Jack Wood Hall, which seats up to 136 for a banquet with downtown views and built-in AV, to the West Galleries and the Wonders of the Universe hall, a second-floor space with an open layout, a built-in amphitheater, and NASA exhibits. The Sudekum Planetarium's 63-foot domed theater seats 160 and can host private planetarium or laser shows, while smaller classrooms and the Innovation Incubator suit meetings and breakout sessions.
