Montclair Wedding Sanctuary occupies a historic Neo-Gothic church in Montclair, New Jersey, designed by architect Bertram Goodhue and dedicated in 1916. Soaring vaulted ceilings, a cathedral-length aisle, intricate stained glass windows, and original oak woodwork give the main Sanctuary one of the more architecturally distinctive ceremony settings in northern New Jersey. The congregation behind it — a ministry of First Congregational Church of Montclair — has championed inclusive values for nearly 150 years, hosting Montclair's first same-gender marriage in October 2013 and explicitly welcoming interfaith, unaffiliated, same-gender, and non-traditional couples. The National Museum of Mathematics — known as MoMath — is Manhattan's only hands-on institution dedicated entirely to mathematics, and one of New York City's most distinctive settings for private events. The museum is available seven days a week for receptions, banquets, bar and bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, and more. Groups may rent a floor or the entire museum, giving guests exclusive access to the interactive exhibits with the help of trained interpreters. The Enigma Café serves as a natural gathering point for cocktail hours, and exhibits like the Square-Wheeled Tricycle and the Human Tree fractal installation give guests something to discover throughout the evening. As the National Maritime Union's headquarters, the nautically themed structure was originally designed by New Orleans modernist architect Albert Ledner in 1968 to serve as the union's headquarters.
