Located just five miles east of Savannah's Historic District and 12 miles from Tybee Island, Oatland Island Wildlife Center is a naturally beautiful setting for your special event. Whatever the occasion, our appealing outdoor and indoor venues will make your next event one to remember. We have locations that can accommodate large or small groups in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind setting, no matter what you are planning. If you have selected a date, we are happy to hold the venue for seven days, after which time we request deposit of 50% of the rental fee, with the balance due no less than 14 days prior to the event. Colleton River Club is a private, member-owned community in Bluffton, South Carolina, set along the Colleton River amid Lowcountry marshes and Live Oaks draped in Spanish moss. The property is anchored by two clubhouses: the Dye Clubhouse, designed in the style of a Southern plantation home with a grand exterior staircase, columns, and an 18-foot-wide veranda overlooking the Chechessee River and Port Royal Sound; and the Nicklaus Clubhouse, a 30,000-square-foot building with sweeping views of the course's final four holes and sunsets over the Colleton River. Within the Nicklaus Clubhouse, a ballroom is set up for weddings alongside a well-appointed Wine Room suited to intimate private dining, in addition to a fine dining room, a casual bar, and lounges. The Dye Clubhouse offers a members' bar, a formal dining room, and several smaller breakout rooms, along with a rooftop lounge and outdoor patio added during a 2023 renovation. The community's roots trace back to the 1700s, when land-granted members of the Colleton family established the area as Footpoint Plantation, with history dating even earlier to the 16th century and events from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

Truffles Cafe is a locally owned American restaurant in Bluffton, South Carolina, set in the Belfair Towne Village just off Highway 278. The kitchen builds its menu around farm-to-table freshness and locally sourced ingredients, with many recipes drawn from the family gatherings and special occasions that shape its cooking. A bar stocked with more than 40 wines, many available by the glass, rounds out a menu of soups, salads, seafood, pasta, and house specialties, and the restaurant serves weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. For weddings, couples can hold a ceremony under the Avenue of the Oaks or in the formal gardens, followed by a reception for up to 200 guests and a farewell brunch overlooking the water. Luxury cottages on the property allow guests to stay within the gates for the full weekend. The Guard House is a historic 1906 U.S. Army building set within the National Historic Fort Screven District on the north end of Tybee Island. Originally constructed as the headquarters for soldiers guarding the post, the building was restored in 2007 to reflect its original Army post character and now serves as an event rental venue owned by the City of Tybee Island. The venue's buttercream yellow exterior features a sweeping wrap-around veranda that extends three-quarters around the building, offering a relaxed, shaded gathering space adjacent to Jaycee Park. Inside, two spacious, airy rooms showcase restored hardwood floors, original woodwork, and period details — including a decorative pressed tin ceiling in the back room. A fully equipped kitchen and ADA-accessible rear porch with an elevator lift round out the facility. The Guard House accommodates up to 100 guests and sits within walking distance of the Tybee Island Lighthouse and North Beach, making it a distinctive setting for weddings, private parties, and special events in a storied island location.

Beachview Inn & Spa is a historic bed and breakfast on Tybee Island, Georgia, dating to the 1910s and opened as the Beachview Hotel in the 1920s. A thorough restoration in 2015 — the property's centennial year — preserved the original heart pine floors while modernizing the structure throughout.
