    • Spaces for 200 Guests

Lamborn Farm is a historic wedding and event venue on a working farmstead in Leavenworth, Kansas. The property dates to 1877, when Horace and Rosemond Lamborn established it as a subsistence farm — a legacy now carried forward by the fourth generation of the family under Joseph and Valerie Lamborn, who also cultivate crops and raise grass-fed beef on the land today. The centerpiece of the venue is a red barn built in the 1890s, fully restored in 2011 and 2012 using original materials. The structure is listed on both the Kansas and National Register of Historic Places, and earned a Kansas Preservation Alliance Award for Excellence in 2012. Its weathered beams and historic character make it a natural fit for rustic-style weddings, and the barn can accommodate both indoor and outdoor events. Beyond weddings, the farm welcomes private celebrations of all kinds — baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, graduations, and more. A campfire area on the property provides an additional gathering space for guests.

    • Spaces for 150 Guests

The Thomas H. Swope Memorial is an outdoor historic ceremony venue set on a hilltop in Swope Park — Kansas City's largest urban park — with views over the park's lagoon and surrounding grounds. The structure is a U-shaped colonnade in the Greek Doric style, featuring twelve 14-foot-tall columns supporting an entablature. Designed by landscape architect George Kessler based on plans drawn in 1915, the memorial was dedicated in 1918. Eight bronze medallions mounted on the colonnade's backdrop each honor a species of tree native to the park, while a decorative lantern with carved lion heads and feet crowns the stone court. Stone guardian lions flank the stairs leading up to the court — the sculptural work executed by Charles Keck, former president of the National Sculpture Society. The memorial marks the final resting place of Thomas H. Swope, the Kansas City philanthropist whose 1896 land donation established what would become the 1,805-acre park that surrounds it. Managed by Kansas City Parks & Recreation, the venue brings a rare combination of architectural formality and open-air parkland setting to outdoor ceremonies.

    • Spaces for 65 Guests

La Bodega is a Spanish tapas restaurant and event venue situated on Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Founded by James Taylor — whose background spans architecture, culinary training, brewmaster certification, and event management — the restaurant draws from the tapas traditions of Northern Spain and the Basque region, where small-plate dining is as much about camaraderie and unhurried conversation as it is about food. Taylor also founded Missouri's first brewpub and has built La Bodega around a philosophy of "World Class Hospitality" and the concept of lagniappe: that unexpected extra touch that transforms a gathering into a memorable experience. For private events, La Bodega accommodates a range of formats through its main dining room, Chef's Table, custom tapas bar, and open-air patio. Full and partial restaurant buyouts are available for groups that want exclusive use of the space. The events team handles everything from catered office lunches and cocktail receptions to on-site private dinners, pairing a culinary-driven menu of tapas with hand-crafted cocktails to suit the occasion.
