Arcosanti is run by the Cosanti Foundation as a response to issues such as mass consumerism, urban sprawl, the unchecked consumption of natural resources, and social isolation. The iconic structures at Arcosanti have been designed to be multi-use in order to extend their utility and usefulness in the process of facilitating the numerous performances, workshops, and cultural programming that takes place each and every year.
