Voodoo Doughnut Mile High is the Denver outpost of the beloved Portland-born doughnut brand, occupying its iconic shop on East Colfax Avenue. The location offers a one-of-a-kind setting for wedding ceremonies — legally binding or not — inside a fully operational doughnut shop, open around the clock seven days a week. Built in 1899 and designed by the Denver firm Varian and Sterner, the Tears McFarlane House is an 8,700-square-foot Colonial Revival mansion situated on the north edge of Cheesman Park in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Designated as a Denver historic landmark in 1972 and listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1976, the property stands as one of the finest residential examples of the Colonial Revival style in Colorado. The mansion's interiors preserve notable original details, including a Tiffany stained glass window featuring a fall leaf motif in seven colors on the main staircase landing and a hallway mirror salvaged from the historic Windsor Hotel.
