On Smokey Point Boulevard just off I-5 in Arlington, Washington, the Stilly Valley Center's main building was raised in the early 1970s by local seniors, volunteers, and donated labor after North Snohomish County residents organized the center in 1970 on a former motel site. That community-built hall now anchors the center's rental program, hosting wedding receptions, banquet dinners, anniversaries, and family reunions in the evenings and on weekends. The Main Hall is the center's largest rental space, holding up to 250 guests for dining and events when its side rooms are included, making it suited to receptions and banquets that call for a single large gathering space. Smaller rooms are also available for more intimate meetings and gatherings. A certificate of liability insurance is required for all rentals, and a banquet permit is needed for any event serving alcohol.

Founded in 1907, the Everett Yacht Club sits at the south end of the Port of Everett Marina, on the Everett waterfront in Washington's Puget Sound. Its two-story clubhouse pairs indoor gathering space with two decks overlooking the marina, where boats line the docks and sunsets carry across the water. The clubhouse is available for private rental and accommodates up to 100 guests. The main floor features a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious, ground-level open area suited to the majority of a gathering, opening onto a covered deck furnished with patio tables, chairs, and a BBQ. Upstairs, a private bar and a smaller open space lend themselves to more intimate gatherings, with an open deck framing views of the waterfront marina. Alderbrook Park is a 63-acre private park in Brush Prairie, Washington, nestled in the forest with nature trails, a creek, and its own three-and-a-half-acre Mirror Lake. The grounds serve as an outdoor destination for corporate picnics, private celebrations, and community events, with four covered pavilions plus an overlook deck and lookout tower hosting groups from 25 to 750 guests. A day at the park comes with plenty to keep guests busy: a heated swimming pool with wading area and sundeck, pedal boats on Mirror Lake, an 18-hole mini golf course, disc golf, beach volleyball courts, softball and kickball fields, horseshoes, train rides on the Alderbrook Express, a pirate ship play structure, and hiking trails. A main stage facing the Alderbrook field sets up for movies, concerts, festivals, and team-building events. All food and drink is handled on site — the park's catering team serves private events, and the Snack Shack/Alderbrook Cafe covers concessions. Parking accommodates more than 1,000 cars.

The Washington State Legislative Building anchors the Capitol Campus in Olympia. Completed in 1928, it was designed by New York architects Walter R. Wilder and Harry K. White. Their design won a national competition held in 1911. The building's dome rises 287 feet. It is the tallest masonry dome in North America. Wilkeson sandstone, quarried in Pierce County, covers the exterior. Inside, marble arrives from farther away: Formosa marble lines the Senate chamber, French Escalette marble lines the House, and gray Alaskan marble runs through the main corridors. A Tiffany chandelier hangs over the Washington State Seal in the rotunda. The rotunda, its mezzanines, and the Columbia Room host weddings, receptions, dances, and graduation ceremonies. Private events can take place inside the building after hours. Outdoors, ceremonies can also take place in the Sunken Garden, under a wisteria trellis, or on the lawn near the Tivoli fountain. The surrounding grounds were laid out by the Olmsted Brothers and include an arboretum and cherry trees, all within a National Historic District.

Established in 2000, Camas Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Andy Raugust, formerly with Jack Nicklaus Golf Services. The par-72 course, playing between 4,859 and 6,518 yards, is set among towering evergreens and lush natural wetlands near Lacamas Lake in Camas, Washington, offering a secluded backdrop that's still convenient to Portland International Airport. The club hosts weddings, golf tournaments, corporate outings, and charitable fundraisers for groups of 12 to 200 or more guests. The Pavilion Tent, with its cloth-lined interior and lighted chandeliers, serves as the club's reception space, while the Gazebo offers a ceremony setting during the warmer months and the Lower Terrace provides an outdoor gathering spot with string lights and fire pits. Stilly Brook Farm was first settled in 1889 by a pioneer family. A Swedish barn builder built the current barn in the 1920s near to the ancient Stillagaumish River channel. It still has its original cedar timbers and cathedral ceiling, which could hold up to 25 tons of hay at one time. For nearly a century, the farm remained operating, largely with modest crops and milk cows. Richard and Beverly Emery decided to develop the farm into an event center in the year 2000, with the goal of hosting weddings, religious events, and family reunions. The bottom floor was cleaned up and turned into a reception hall, and the property was landscaped into lovely gardens. The present owners, David and Terri Lundquist, and their five kids, are expanding on what the Emerys envisioned when they transformed this lonely farm into a place for everyone to enjoy. When you walk in, you'll notice that Stilly Brook Farm has paid attention to every detail in this newly remodeled location.

Four Springs House sits on a 50-acre nature preserve on Camano Island, within driving distance of Seattle. Once a private homestead built around a pond fed by four natural springs, the property passed to Island County Parks and now opens its buildings and grounds for weddings, corporate meetings, family reunions, and celebrations. The setting pairs indoor and outdoor space. The Main House centers on a great room with windows overlooking the lake, joined by two breakout rooms and a catering kitchen. The adjacent Meadow Room looks out over the preserve, and a barn with a concrete patio hosts ceremonies, receptions, seminars, and auctions. INFORMATION ABOUT US L'Oursin is a French restaurant and bar in Seattle's Capitol Hill/Central District that also has a small food and wine market. Dinner is served from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Our market is open from 3:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesdays through Sundays. In the market, you'll find a carefully curated assortment of fine cheeses, meats, and other speciality goods, as well as a large selection of natural wines, also known as vins naturels in French. Please keep in mind that proof of double vaccination (a card or a photo would suffice) and matching identification are required in order to dine with us. Anyone who is not seated at a table is still obligated to wear a mask. Our corkage price for outside wine is $30 per bottle ($45 for magnums), with a two-bottle restriction per table for each bottle brought in. The Musicquarium at The Triple Door is a spacious, self-contained lounge that seats 150. The lounge takes its name from The Triple Door’s dedication to music and the brilliant visual focus of the room, a stunning 1900-gallon freshwater aquarium just inside the entrance. If people-watching doesn’t appeal, the fish-watching is pretty fascinating. The wraparound, U-shaped display bar ranges down the center of The Musicquarium, with a comfortably-arranged mix of tables and a standup bar on the Union Street side, plus seven booths for more private socializing lined up down the opposite side. A sneak hideaway occupies the corner at the far end of the booths.

Tierra Retreat Center sits on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains near Leavenworth, Washington, its grounds marked by wildflower meadows each spring and turning leaves each fall. At the center of the property is the Main Lodge, where a great room with hardwood floors, hand-built log furniture, and a central wood fireplace seats up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing, backed by a fully stocked commercial kitchen, an upstairs conference room, and two bunk rooms for overnight stays. Twenty Forest Room Suites provide private lodging with kitchenettes and queen beds, sleeping up to 80 guests overnight around a shared hot tub. Ceremonies typically take place in the outdoor amphitheater, which seats 150, while the 30-foot yurt offers a quiet space for yoga, meditation, or wedding-day preparation. From May through October, Barn Canyon adds tent camping for up to 60 additional guests. Weddings require a two-night minimum stay during the busiest months and follow sustainable event practices through a partnership with ZeroTraceWeddings; overnight stays also help fund Tierra Learning Center's programs for adults with developmental disabilities.
