24830 136th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98042, USA
    • Spaces for 100-275 Guests
    • 1 Country Club

Meridian Valley Country Club opened its doors for the first time on July 1, 1967. Despite the fact that there was just a temporary clubhouse and only nine of the 18 holes were available for play on that Saturday morning, those who teed it up did so again and again. Despite the fact that the fairway grass was well on its way to reaching full maturity, the theme of the day was "Take No Divots" since all shots were needed to be taken from tees. The opening day regulation had no effect on the level of competitiveness on the first day. The second nine holes, as well as the permanent clubhouse, were dedicated in May 1968 with a similar amount of hoopla. Several substantial modifications have been made to the golf course throughout the years, including irrigation, drainage, and a large number of flowering trees and plants. The course is currently open all year round and plays "dry." Meridian Valley Country Club has been a gathering place for members and guests to commemorate life's most important occasions since 1967. Whatever your occasion may be, from weddings to anniversaries and birthdays to business meetings to auctions to family gatherings and reunions, every event organized at MVCC will be handled with outstanding care and attention to detail, enabling you to relax and enjoy yourself. Meridian Valley's staff is delighted to assist you in creating the style and feel you have envisioned for your event at Meridian Valley. Everything from formal plated meals to themed buffets will be presented in a unique manner in a tastefully designed setting that the entire group will love. Please allow us to extend our best wishes to you and your guests for a very amazing and unforgettable event.

A daily tasting room pours from noon to 5pm alongside lunch service, while the adjoining wine bar opens with cozy seating and appetizers from Chef Jenny, plus a full lineup of wine, beer, cider, and cocktails after 5pm. The Winemaker's Grill carries the evening forward with dinner starting at 5pm, and a happy hour runs twice daily for guests settling in early. Tin Roof Barn centers its weddings around three connected spaces: the 3,400-square-foot barn for dining and dancing, the Ceremony Patio overlooking the mountains and orchards, and the timber-framed Pavilion, where guests typically gather for cocktail hour beneath a stone fireplace. Full-day weddings of up to 180 guests dine in the barn itself, while intimate weddings of 50 or fewer guests can celebrate entirely in the Pavilion. The barn at the center of the property has stood since the early 1900s, on a family farm in Washington's Columbia River Gorge that the founder's parents acquired in 1971. It was restored and opened as a wedding venue in 2014, and the Pavilion was added in 2016 to serve as a covered ceremony alternative during rain or heat. Reservations include a full day onsite, upgraded ceremony chairs, farm tables, two private dressing quarters, and an onsite restroom facility. Tin Roof Barn also offers its own in-house coordination team, TRB & Co., as the sole required planning vendor, alongside a preferred list of caterers and DJs.

A commissary kitchen — one of the few available in North Kitsap — along with a picnic pavilion and additional meeting rooms round out the rental offerings, alongside the community's regular slate of senior fitness classes, pickleball and yoga sessions, and arts programming.

Commellini Estate is a historic event venue in Spokane, Washington, set on land purchased in 1938 by Albert and Elide Commellini, Italian immigrants who had settled in the area. The house was completed in 1940, and Elide's cooking brought the property to life as a gathering place, leading to the opening of Commellini's Restaurant in 1941. The estate's Prohibition-era origins include a network of underground tunnels that remain part of its character today. Now operated by the third and fourth generation of the Seghetti family, Commellini Estate hosts weddings, corporate events, cooking classes, and community gatherings across five private acres of forested land with water features. The estate hosts more than 50 weddings between May and October, with additional events through the winter months. Full-service planning support includes wedding coordinators, culinary experts, mixologists, servers, and a design team, along with onsite Italian catering. Outdoor spaces support al fresco dining and team gatherings, while indoor areas can be set up for anything from boardroom-style meetings to open receptions, with projector, microphone, and high-speed internet available for corporate events. My Little White House

    Seattle, WA, USA

Bring your vision to life in My Little White House, an ideal setting for styled shoots, portrait photography, and other intimate events in addition to other possibilities. My Little White House is a 170 square foot boutique up-cycled studio that is located in a private garden in the West Seattle neighborhood of West Seattle. It was built primarily out of salvaged materials and vintage finds. The Little White House is a little studio that I built out of reclaimed materials and things that I found in dumpsters. It is 170 square feet in size. I didn't even consider constructing a white house or a small house when I came up with the idea. Simply put, I desired a location where I could build a fire during the colder months... Initially, it was only 10 feet by 10 feet, but over time, it expanded, the ceilings got higher, and it evolved into what it is today... People are drawn to the White House, in my opinion, due to the fact that a lot of its furnishings were salvaged from dumpsters or were things that previous owners had thrown away because they no longer wanted them. I believe that the Little White House breathes new life into all of those things in some sense... At the very least, that is what compelled me to construct it. It was the concept of turning things that were thrown away into something attractive and intriguing by giving them a second life in the form of something else entirely.

Lopez Center for Community & Arts

204 Village Rd, Lopez Island, WA 98261, USA
    • Spaces for 196-200 Guests
    • 1 Theater
    • 1 Meeting Space

Set on land donated to the Lopez Island community in 1984, when Natalie Roush gave five acres in Lopez Village toward what would become a shared gathering place, the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts is owned and operated by the nonprofit Lopez Community Center Association, which formed in 1987 to carry the vision forward and, after years of fundraising that gained early momentum from seed funding provided by Andy Holland in 1994, opened the doors of its main facility to the community in October 1999. At the heart of the center is a multipurpose main hall, where a stage, hardwood floors, and a vintage Steinway piano support everything from theater and music productions to meetings, memorials, and fundraisers, while large sliding glass doors open the room to natural light and to the rolling lawn beyond. That lawn, together with a south-facing veranda and an outdoor pavilion built for the center's earliest seasonal concerts, gives weddings held here room to spread from an outdoor ceremony across the grounds into the hall for a reception seated at up to 200 place settings, a scale that has made the center known as the largest wedding venue on Lopez Island. A fully equipped kitchen, included with every rental, and technical packages ranging from a simple microphone and piano setup to full theatrical lighting and a live band system round out what the center can offer, all of it maintained by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees elected annually by the Lopez Island community whose gifts of land and labor built the place.

    Angelo's Of Burien

601 SW 153rd St, Burien, WA 98166, USA
    • Spaces for 60 Guests

ANGELO RICCI was a second-generation American, descended from a family in Pisterzo, Lazio, in the Monti Lepini—about 100km southeast of Rome. In May 1957, Angelo Ricci opened a delicatessen on the corner of SW 153rd Street and 6th Avenue SW in Burien. At first it was just a small counter and a few tables next to the only liquor store in town. Angelo learned his family’s method of Italian cooking from his father Michele, a grocer who had immigrated from Italy to Osawatomie, Kansas in 1911. Michele always emphasized the importance of the quality and freshness of ingredients. Angelo and his family rapidly expanded, offering a full dining room and lounge by the early 1960s. Angelo made a name for himself by bringing food from around the country and world to Burien.
