In a place as diverse as New York City, you can expect to find your dream wedding venue — be it a traditional ballroom, eclectic museum space, or transformable warehouse. The City That Never Sleeps is home to five distinct boroughs, and plenty more one-of-a-kind neighborhoods with their own aesthetics and charms. Moreover, with so many cultural activities and premier dining spots at hand, guests will be thrilled to extend their stay and take advantage of everything this dynamic city has to offer.

New York boasts some of the most luxurious and historic hotels in the country, including The Plaza New York; The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York; Hotel Chelsea; and more. These world-class hotels feature stunning ballrooms with grand architectural details and premier service. Of course, New York is also home to impressive historical buildings that double as wedding venues. 620 Loft & Garden overlooks the awe-inspiring St. Patrick’s Cathedral, while Carnegie Hall pairs historical fixtures with dramatic windows overlooking Central Park.

New York isn’t just for history buffs, however. Couples seeking a modern aesthetic will fall in love with venues like Rainbow Room, a contemporary space perched 65 stories above the landmark Rockefeller Center. The Glasshouse, a modern blank canvas, also attracts hundreds of couples with its countless configuration possibilities and advanced amenities.

We can’t talk about New York without also mentioning the delectable private dining spots that also serve as beautiful wedding venues. From City Winery NYC - Pier 57 to Bryant Park Grill, there are countless food-forward venues that cater to couples and their families.

The city itself might be overwhelming, but planning a wedding there doesn’t have to be. Use PartySlate’s curated directory, along with the search filters, to find your ideal wedding venue in New York City. Look for the “featured” tags to learn more about PartySlate’s top recommendations, and make sure to click into a venue’s PartySlate profile to see real events hosted at their site. Take a journey through mouthwatering, re-imagined, shareable plates, or let our kitchen delight your taste buds with a tightly curated selection of composed mezes and main courses. As part of its culinary philosophy, Pera Soho seeks to go beyond the current day geographical limits of the Eastern Mediterranean in order to embrace the region's rich culinary and cultural diversity as a whole. While presenting original recipes in a modern setting, Pera Soho's food also highlights the use of Eastern Mediterranean ingredients and cooking methods to produce its own unique dishes, in addition to the presentation of authentic recipes. To achieve the flavors that our visitors will appreciate and keep coming back for, Pera Soho thinks that simple recipes using fresh, high-quality ingredients, combined with loving and consistent execution, are required. The neighborhoods of New York, where each has its own particular character and set of expectations, mix in with their surroundings. Aside from the dishes, beverages and wines that share the same philosophy, but are unique to each location, what really differentiates the locations is the clientele’s reasons for being there. It is typically business in Midtown, however in Soho, it is always a celebration, no matter how basic or sophisticated, and no matter how small or enormous the gathering may be. At Pera Soho, the hustle and bustle of the city gives way to the warmth, comfort, and conviviality that is the trademark of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Allow yourself to be spoiled by the delicious cuisine and joyful love for the outdoors that are the hallmarks of the Mediterranean experience.

Our stunning formal dining and entertainment room, which was built by the King Family in 1810, is part of the final enlargement that was added to the home to create the structure that is now known as King Manor. There are genuine Federal Period design components in the space, which were meant to produce a warm, bright environment in an era before electric lights, as well as great natural acoustics for music performance. Meetings, tiny wedding ceremonies, book readings, recitals, and other small private events are all possible in this space. However, while food and liquids are not permitted in our period rooms, we do have a large foyer where light snacks and drinks can be offered, as well as access to the backyard if needed. A more informal private space, our North Kitchen is ideal for off-site meetings, classroom sessions, a bridal party dressing room or storage space while your event is taking place. Within a New York City park, King Manor offers a huge backyard space that can accommodate renting tents up to 30 by 40 feet in size, making it ideal for larger occasions. Our venue is private and secure, making it an ideal setting for events such as weddings, board retreats, cocktail hours, and other gatherings. King Manor is ideally located near all main means of New York City public transportation, including the Long Island Railroad, three NYC Subway lines, and a plethora of bus routes, among others. We are also close to both JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, making our historic mansion a convenient meeting location for everyone on your guest list during their visit.

    • Spaces for 70 Guests

Enjoy a meal with us in New York City, Amagansett, or Ibiza, and browse through our Mediterranean pantry and home collection. When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. Our cuisine is influenced by both the motherland of Italy and the Iberian Peninsula. We spend a significant amount of time sourcing ingredients and take great pleasure in working with our producers to ensure that you receive the highest quality product possible. What we can't find locally, we source in Italy through a network of family and friends that we've built up over the course of a lifetime of traveling.

The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, located in the Bronx's Pelham Bay Park and the only remaining big country estate in the city, covers the social history of the individuals who lived and worked on the estate during the nineteenth century. Less is more in this case. The mission of the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, which is the last remaining "great country estate" in the Bronx Pelham Bay Park, is to create a vibrant site through the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of the property and grounds for the benefit of the public throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area and beyond. In order to achieve our mission, we must do the following things: 1) protect, preserve, and restore the site's architecture, landscape, and collection; 2) interpret the site's history in compelling and innovative ways; and 3) develop dynamic education programs for students in grades K-12, adults, and families. In addition to being administered by the Bartow-Pell Conservancy, which is a proud partner member of the Historic House Trust and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum is home to the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum.
