Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. is located in Westchester County, New York, only a short drive north of New York City, and is the region's largest craft brewery, producing more than 28,000 barrels of beer per year. Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, founded in 2006 by Scott Vaccaro, produces a diverse range of beer genres, creating as many as one hundred different brands in a single year. The Merchant's House Museum is New York City's only family home to survive intact — inside and out — from the 19th century. Sterling Renaissance Festival brings the streets of 1585 Warwick, England to life each summer on wooded grounds in Sterling, New York, just south of Lake Ontario. Celebrating its 50th season in 2026, the festival opens its gates on Saturdays and Sundays from early July through mid-August. For couples, the festival offers Enchanted Weddings — customizable ceremonies that begin with a procession through the festival grounds and end in an authentic thatched-roof chapel overlooking Sterling Creek.
