Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site sits on 17 acres in Johnson City, Tennessee, anchored by 11 historic buildings, a cave, and an active spring pond. The property was acquired by the State of Tennessee in 1944, restored by the nonprofit Tipton-Haynes Historical Association between 1965 and 1970, and opened to the public for tours in 1971 — giving the grounds a layered, lived-in history that shows up in every corner of the site. That history makes for a distinctive backdrop for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and photo sessions, with the picturesque buildings, cave, and pond offering a different scene for every season. Lone Oaks Farm is a 1,200-acre working farm in Middleton, Tennessee, about an hour east of Memphis, set among pasture, woodlands, trails, and sixteen lakes. Owned by the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and operated by UT Extension, the property blends a working cattle and crop operation with event hosting, and is home to the largest collection of antique American hand tools in the country. The farm's venues suit groups from 30 to 200 guests, from weddings to corporate retreats and business meetings. The Sale Barn offers nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor space with a meeting and dining side alongside a theater-style side with stadium seating and a stage, plus an adjacent patio with a firepit overlooking a pond. Full-service planning support comes from the family's experienced staff, who guide couples through the details of their wedding day, and bridal party dressing areas and guest lodging are available on site. A distinctive part of Country Manor Acres is its role as a sanctuary for 14 rescued horses, which live in herds on the property and are cared for daily by the family. Guests booking weddings, private horseback rides, carriage rides, or picnics on the estate experience this horse country setting alongside the surrounding Smoky Mountains scenery.

Even while RAD does not have a private dining room, we do provide the ideal backdrop for any event, from business dinners to social gatherings. Dishes are served family-style to all of our large groups as they are seated at a single, long table along the middle of the dining area. The cost of this family-style supper, which is based on our current menu, is $85 per person. Any dietary requirements or demands can be accommodated on the menu. We also have a minimal requirement for food and drink. The option to completely book out the restaurant for the evening is provided by RAD. Perched on a riverside cliff above the Nolichucky River near Greeneville, Tennessee, Nolichuckey Bluffs centers on its Glass Chapel, a floor-to-ceiling glass structure set among the woods with panoramic views of the river and the foothills leading to the Smoky Mountains. The setting is intimate by design, with the venue hosting weddings, elopements, and vow renewals for up to 50 guests. Adjacent to the chapel, a restored 1930s log cabin offers a covered porch suited to rehearsal dinners, portraits, or getting ready before the ceremony. Dr. Charles and Mary Portera began the district's revitalization in the early 1990s, purchasing its first building in 1991, now home to Rembrandt's Coffee House and River Gallery, and the district has since grown into a cluster of restaurants, galleries, and gardens set among renovated historic mansions. Event spaces throughout the district take advantage of its river views and gardens. Renaissance Commons offers a set of mahogany-paneled rooms, including one with a hand-tiled copper fireplace, suited to weddings, receptions, and corporate meetings. The Maclellan House Audubon Room and Bocce Court Terrace overlook the Tennessee River and can host ceremonies and dinners.
