Dramatic, moss-covered rocks and dense woodlands surround our 28-acre space, which is itself surrounded by Cloudland Canyon State Park. The grounds offer a flowing layout which encompasses the cottage to stay overnight and/or get ready in, two separate outdoor ceremony sites accommodating up to 115 guests, and an upscale stable barn structure that provides a lovely indoor option for ceremonies and receptions. Our curated collection of vintage and boho glassware, plates, and other table details such as brass candlesticks and an array of votives are included, as well as wood Schoolhouse chairs and French-style X-back chairs for your reception. Set on 350 acres of rolling Tennessee hills just outside Chattanooga, Howe Farms is home to seven boutique wedding and event venues spread across two neighboring properties, Howe Farms and Five Gables. The estate began with Don and Talene Howe's own wedding in 2014, an experience that led them to build a property dedicated to stress-free, all-inclusive celebrations. Set on the banks of the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga, the Tennessee Aquarium spans two connected buildings, River Journey and Ocean Journey, that trace the path of water from mountain streams to the open sea. Guests and their event guests can get up close to alligators, otters, and freshwater fish in River Journey, then cross into Ocean Journey for penguins, sharks, stingrays, and moray eels, all with views of the Tennessee River. For private events, the Aquarium offers several distinct spaces. The Lupton Room, a 3,000+ square foot space in the River Journey building surrounded by sea nettle jellyfish and freshwater fish tanks, is equipped with AV and dimmable lighting and suits daytime meetings and luncheons. River Journey's outdoor pavilion and Ocean Journey's river-view galleries provide additional reception space, while the IMAX Great Hall, with its two-story arches, and the six-story IMAX 3D Theater lend themselves to elegant wedding receptions and corporate dinners. Perched atop the Republic Centre — Chattanooga's tallest building — The Walden Club is a private city club founded in 1975 by a group of local business and community leaders who envisioned a place of great food, personal service, and sky-high views of the city. From the outset, the club broke with the exclusionary norms of its era, welcoming members "without consideration of their race, sex, creed, or long local lineage." Today the club serves its members' social and professional life in equal measure, hosting everything from quiet luncheon meetings and small intimate dinners to large formal private parties and dances. Four distinct rooms give it that range: the grand Ballroom for weddings and galas, the Riverview Room overlooking the Tennessee River and Signal Mountain, the contemporary Tavern for cocktail-style gatherings, and the more intimate Tennessee and Forest rooms for private dinners and smaller functions. Bluff View Art District is a family-owned arts neighborhood perched on the bluffs above the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga, spanning a block and a half of the city's first art district. Dr. Charles and Mary Portera began the district's revitalization in the early 1990s, purchasing its first building in 1991, now home to Rembrandt's Coffee House and River Gallery, and the district has since grown into a cluster of restaurants, galleries, and gardens set among renovated historic mansions. Event spaces throughout the district take advantage of its river views and gardens. Renaissance Commons offers a set of mahogany-paneled rooms, including one with a hand-tiled copper fireplace, suited to weddings, receptions, and corporate meetings. The Maclellan House Audubon Room and Bocce Court Terrace overlook the Tennessee River and can host ceremonies and dinners. The Barn at High Point Farms is a 75-acre working farm and wedding venue nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain in Flintstone, Georgia, just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Established in 2011, the property holds three generations of family history and carries a Georgia Agri-Tourism designation, with boutique cut-flower gardens, resident goats, a creek, and a tree tunnel winding through the grounds. Ceremonies take place in a woodland clearing encircled by café lights and canopied by trees that shift with the seasons — shade in summer, color in fall. The climate-controlled barn serves as the reception hall, its rafters strung with lights and its layout customized for each event. An indoor ceremony option inside the barn features a garden-inspired chandelier and natural light from three sides. The Barn at High Point Farms offers all-inclusive packages as well as à la carte and elopement options, with in-house floral design, event styling, day-of coordination, and catering available. On-site lodging — including a pre-Civil War farmhouse, a guest house, and a treehouse — supports multi-day celebrations and destination weddings.

The Gordon-Lee Mansion is a historic antebellum estate situated on seven acres at 217 Cove Road in Chickamauga, Georgia. Construction began in 1840 under James Gordon and was completed in 1847, with bricks made on the property grounds. The mansion later passed to the Gordon family's descendants, and the property eventually came under the stewardship of the City of Chickamauga. The estate holds a singular place in Civil War history as the only structure left standing that was used by both Union and Confederate forces during the Battle of Chickamauga in September 1863. Union General William Rosecrans established his headquarters in the mansion's parlor before the battle, and the grounds served as a field hospital for both armies during the conflict. The property also hosted the 1889 Blue-Gray Barbeque, attended by 14,000 Civil War veterans, which led directly to the creation of the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park. Today the mansion is available for weddings, receptions, luncheons, and private events. The grounds accommodate outdoor ceremonies on the front porch, in the courtyard, or at the Formal Garden's Gazebo, with the mansion's interior available for smaller gatherings. A banquet tent and dressing rooms for the wedding party are also available on site.
