Renovated with state-of-the-art technology in 2018, the original dairy barn has been transformed into the perfect location for your event, whatever the occasion. While guests have full access to the grounds, Sweeney Barn's two indoor halls always make for a flexible rain plan. The property brings together several distinct spaces for events, including the Waterfall Terrace and Patio, the Historic Bank Barn, the Long Stable Gallery, and a reconstructed Log Chapel at the edge of the fields. The Waterfall Terrace and Patio overlooks a cascading waterfall and pond with views of the Potomac River valley, making it a favored spot for ceremonies and cocktail hours. The climate-controlled Historic Bank Barn offers a dance floor, string lights, and antique accents for year-round celebrations, while the Long Stable Gallery provides a shaded, adaptable retreat for cocktail hour or an indoor ceremony alternative. That We Are We were the ones who bought the farm! The name Belle's Pleasure was inspired by my great grandmother's ancient house in Prince Georges County, Maryland (Bealls Pleasure). As a child, I remember being awed by the big brick home with chandeliers, rich rugs, secret staircases, room after room stuffed with treasures, and the aroma of boxwoods that encircled the secret garden in the back. Even before we found this teeny-tiny slice of heaven we now call home, I knew our farm would be called Belle's Pleasure. This property was first shown to us in the fall of 2016. I went to look at the house with our month-old baby in tow. When I saw the cathedral ceilings at the top of the barn's inner staircase, I knew this was the one! A Smidgeon of Heaven Being here at the farm gives me a special feeling, a serene and peaceful atmosphere that penetrates the entire property. Maybe it's the history; knowing that the old farmhouse at the property's center has stood for almost two centuries gives you a sense of confidence. Maybe it's the rustic beauty of the enormous white barn, which was built by farmers in 1920 as a dairy barn. Several generations have lived and worked on this land over the past 250 years, and this small piece of heaven has been a part of their lives. Please come in and take a look around. Cloverdale Barn is a restored historic barn set on a working cattle farm in Winchester, Virginia, about 65 minutes from Northern Virginia. The barn dates back roughly 200 years and was brought back from years of storm and tornado damage through a 10-day restoration by Amish craftsmen, a project the family undertook so their own children could marry there. Today it hosts weddings, birthdays, baptisms, graduations, reunions, and company gatherings. The barn offers a 40-by-80-foot event space with an additional lower "bank" area that serves as a rain-alternative or extra gathering spot, and the property includes a pond and rock area often used for outdoor ceremonies. String and globe lighting are part of the barn rental, along with oak farm tables, a maple round table, and whiskey and wine barrels available at no charge for decor. Couples are free to bring their own caterer, DJ, cake decorator, planner, and other vendors, and acres of on-site field parking accommodate large gatherings. A bridal-changing cottage is available separately, and a two-station restroom trailer can be added for larger events.

Stable Craft Brewing at Hermitage Hill traces its roots to Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables, founded in 2006 as an operational horse farm where Tennessee Walkers were bred and trained on a property built around a 288-foot barn. The founders transformed the farm into an event venue for weddings, receptions, private parties, and corporate gatherings, and played a role in the Virginia legislation that helped establish agritourism in the state, all while preserving the rural landscape of the Shenandoah Valley. The historic barn has since been renovated into a reception venue that blends rustic architecture -- hand-hewn beams and timber crafted with local artisans -- with heating, air conditioning, and a professional sound system. The property has grown into a destination brewery and cidery alongside its wedding and event business, adding on-site guest suites, a taproom, and an agri-pub style restaurant.
