  The Colonnade Club occupies Pavilion VII on the Lawn at the University of Virginia, the oldest building in Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village, whose cornerstone was laid in 1817 in a ceremony attended by Presidents Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe.
