The Children's Museum of the Upstate occupies more than 80,000 square feet across three floors in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, with 30 exhibits built around hands-on, play-based learning for children ages 0-12. The museum opened in 2009 out of one mother's vision for a world-class play-based learning facility in the Upstate, and in 2014 became the first children's museum named a Smithsonian Affiliate. For meetings and private events, the museum offers several distinct spaces. The Big Idea Conference Room, on the third floor, suits staff retreats, board meetings, and small receptions, with a screen for presentations. Be Anything Place, a round first-floor room with a projector and screen, accommodates large meetings or small receptions. Oxford Farm is a 180-acre working horse farm in Anderson, South Carolina, set among rolling pastures and wooded trails just minutes from Interstate 85. In addition to boarding, lessons, and overnight accommodations for horses and their owners, the farm hosts weddings and special events in its rustic outdoor setting. Oxford Farm welcomes weddings, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, company functions, conferences, team-building gatherings, and music festivals, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Event packages range from a simple day-use rental to a full-service option that includes an on-site wedding professional who helps plan and budget the event and directs the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Couples may also schedule photo sessions on the grounds ahead of their ceremony date at no extra charge, with the farm's horses sometimes wandering into the shots. The farm is also home to Mane Solutions, a therapeutic riding program, and offers on-site lodging through the Guest Cottage and the Lodge for guests attending an event or traveling through the area.

We are a company that is run by members of our own family. The Parker family, consisting of Stan, Denise, and Sarah, is the owner of the farm. In 2016, the home was purchased with the goal of quickly turning around and selling it to a sizable company. However, the family quickly fell in love with the property and started using it as a gathering place for family and friends not long after they purchased it. In 2018, Sarah tied the knot, which served as the impetus for the family to transform the property into a location for weddings and other events. Edmund's Oast is unlike any other restaurant since it combines a brewery, a seasonally oriented menu, and an encyclopedic bar program into one. Scott Shor had the foresight to bring these often-separate interests together under one roof without compromising any of their excellence. The restaurant provides customers with a friendly and interesting dining experience by serving an excellent but approachable menu. Executive Chef Bob Cook's menu includes bar appetizers, house-made charcuterie, small dishes, heartier meals, and modernized versions of classic desserts. The food is genuine and unpretentious, resulting in an unforgettable dining experience inspired by the beverages on the menu. The Library is a secluded, intimate rectangular area located near the main dining room's kitchen. It can easily seat 32 people and can hold up to 45 people standing. The Library includes a wall of windows with velvet curtains that may be drawn to provide as much or as little seclusion as desired. The Library is the only event area with a television screen and audiovisual capabilities, making it perfect for business meetings. Private dinners, happy hours, bridal/baby showers, lectures, wine/beer tastings, and more can all be held in this area. This open timber-framed structure is the perfect setting for a wide range of events and celebrations. For seated dinners of up to 100 persons, long wooden community tables are available. The space is also great for parties and activities that can spill over onto the courtyard. Up to 200 persons can stand throughout the full space. The Bower is an extremely versatile venue that can accommodate events ranging from a corporate happy hour to a 100-person seated dinner to a frenetic dance floor. For hot days, there are fans, and for winter evenings, there are industrial ceiling heaters. Optional screens are available on both sides of The Bower for seclusion and intimacy. A full walkup bar is included in the Bower. When you rent out the entire restaurant, you get all of the rooms. It provides for a decent cocktail hour outside before guests arrive for dinner for rehearsal dinners. It also allows up to 300 people to enjoy live music, order beverages from either bar, watch the sun set in the courtyard, or visit the Library room's bourbon bar. There is plenty of parking on-site.

WedEscapes provides couples who want to get married but either do not have the financial means or do not have the desire for an extravagant or large wedding and reception with the option to purchase elegant micro wedding and elopement packages at private wedding and event venues. No more than 23 guests are permitted to attend each of our intimate micro weddings. The majority of the events will take place outside at privately owned vacation homes, beaches, parks, or in outdoor country settings. These locations are all managed by our premier partner, TGI Property Management & Consulting, LLC, who oversees a portfolio of vacation rentals across the state of South Carolina, including Charleston, Columbia, and Greenwood. WedEscapes is a one-stop shop for everything having to do with weddings, from the planning stages all the way through the big day. Thank you so much for your interest in our location! The banquet hall, riverside covered porch, and open lower deck on the Ashley River are all included in the rates, as well as tables, chairs, linens, setup, and breakdown. We do have a preferred catering list, however you are responsible for all beverages and leftovers. Please shoot us an email to inquire about availability! The Flag Room can hold up to 175 people, while the riverside porch and terrace can hold up to 125, for a total of 300 people. On the Ashley River, we're inside the Charleston City Marina. For your convenience, a full-service commercial kitchen is available for final meal preparation by one of our preferred caterers. You provide all of the drinks and take all of the leftovers home with you. There are no corkage fees. There is no need to rent a dance floor because the Flag Room is 2067 square feet and has hardwood floors. We don't have a noise regulation, so you can have a band or DJ play inside or on the terrace. There are newly refurbished changing rooms and showers, as well as a bridal sequester room where you may be dressed on the spot. The mansion, which was built in 1940, previously belonged to a notable Moncks Corner family. It is now a popular setting for anything from wedding showers to the main event, thanks to Mary Wilson's artistic abilities. Perfect for the wedding you've always wanted. The property has a lovely front yard and huge rooms that can accommodate everything from a small gathering to a large gathering. A gorgeous opulent bridal suite, groom's room, and private room for the first look or meeting the special someone who will guide you down the aisle are all located upstairs. Conversational seating, a wood-burning fireplace, a bar, and exquisite lighting can be found outside in the open-air Pavilion. The lovely wedding gardens are reached by a wooden walkway. The Arch is the go-to site in Berkeley County for planning a huge event or hosting a small gathering of friends, and it's strategically located on Main Street in Moncks Corner. Holly Tree Country Club sits in Simpsonville, South Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with an 18-hole golf course designed by George Cobb woven through the property. Alhambra Hall is tucked away in Mount Pleasant's Old Village neighborhood. This former ferry terminal, which overlooks Charleston Harbor, is furnished with hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings, and airy southern porches that wrap around three sides of the structure. There are no conflicts between events because we only organize one event per day. Alhambra Hall's primary rental space, which is a well-liked location for weddings and celebrations, is about 3,280 square feet. The main hall is 80 feet long and 40 feet broad. 350 people can fit in the building at most. For a sit-down meal, the main hall can accommodate 200 people comfortably. All rentals may conclude as late as midnight on Saturday through Thursday and 1 a.m. on Friday. However, please remember that the fee of your nighttime rental covers using the space for an event that lasts no more than six (6) hours. Plan properly for your start and end hours.
