Hosting an event here at The Stables of Rolling Ridge is a fantastic way to get to know the farm and its surroundings! Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthday parties, corporate retreats, and social gatherings can all be held in the luxury of the countryside at one of the outdoor event sites! Reservations for the farm are accepted from April through November on Sundays through Fridays. The tented reception venue is available for events with a maximum of 60 participants. The price of the reservation includes a tented event venue as well as furnishings for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Beautiful handcrafted wooden ceremonial benches and farm tables are among the furniture options. Prepare for a smaller celebration such as an intimate wedding, elopement, baby shower or birthday with a smaller guest list. Up to 25 guests can be accommodated in the floral shop above the barn, or a workshop-style celebration with Rolling Ridge Floral Design is an option. Workshops and floral shop reservations are available all year round, as are seasonal workshops. Any farm event would benefit from having a favor table in the form of a workshop! Rolling Ridge Farm and Homestead is a family-run farm and homestead. The site is closed to the general public and only available for activities that have been scheduled in advance. Private tours can be planned on a Sunday through Friday basis, depending on the farm's scheduling. The Loft is a place where you can go to The Loft, which was once the barn's hayloft, still has its original wooden high beam ceilings and a new all-wood floor that allows for a choice of set up types. Enter the Loft via the iconic silo stairwell and take some one-of-a-kind shots. The area is warm and inviting thanks to the earth tones and maple seats. The Courtyard is a flower-filled courtyard adjacent to the Smithy/Tack Room that provides the perfect background for your special day. The Courtyard is a great place for photos and for people to relax and enjoy some fresh air. For an additional cost, white, fan-backed chairs would be provided for your wedding guests. Tack Room/Smithy This fully carpeted room, located on the main level, is excellent for meetings and small groups. Cocktails can be served in the Smithy/Tack room prior to your reception. A Wedding Designed by You The Other Barn in Oakland Mills, which has recently been refurbished, is a large celebration venue with rustic charm. Originally a dairy barn, it now offers a one-of-a-kind, sophisticated but welcoming ambience that is ideal for commemorating life's milestones. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, The Other Barn is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony and celebration. Monday through Thursday, the facility is available for small gatherings, rehearsal dinners, business meetings, and non-wedding activities. You are welcome to bring in your own licensed caterer. A full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests are available at The Other Barn. The tables and chairs are set up and taken down for you. Richard Bradshaw and Dr. Michael Pistole have shaped the property over more than 35 years, transforming it from a neglected 40-acre parcel into a lush conservation estate — expanded to over 100 acres and permanently protected through an easement with the Maryland Environmental Trust. The gardens are the heart of the venue, featuring exotic flora, aquatic gardens stocked with koi, a Black Swan Fountain, an Angel Garden, and free-roaming peacocks throughout the grounds. Meadows open to views of the South River headwaters, while the historic Manor House anchors the property with a traditional brick facade and European antiques. Hidden View Farm hosts weddings, family reunions, corporate events, charity fundraisers, and milestone celebrations. Rippon Lodge is a Prince William County historic site built circa 1747 for Richard Blackburn, making it one of the oldest surviving homes in the county. Set on 43 acres above the Potomac River, the property includes formal gardens, walking trails, and the Blackburn and Atkinson family cemetery, with a history that spans colonial tobacco production, Revolutionary War-era politics, and a family connection to George Washington's nephew by marriage. The home was updated in a Colonial Revival style beginning in 1923 and remained with descendants of its original builder until Prince William County acquired it in 2000. For events, Rippon Lodge offers grounds rental with vast lawns and outdoor gardens overlooking the Potomac River, suited to weddings and receptions of up to 150 to 200 guests under large reception tents. Music is permitted, and couples may bring in a caterer of their choice, with wine, beer, and champagne allowed under proper permits. Guided tours of the historic home can be arranged for guests on the day of an event with advance notice.

Oliver's Carriage House is a historic event venue set in Columbia, Maryland, within a two-story stone structure that dates to the early 1800s. Originally built as the barn and stables for Oakland, a large Howard County estate, the building was acquired by the Kittamaqundi Community in 1972 and thoughtfully renovated by 1977 — adding new flooring, lofted spaces, finished woodwork, and two stone fireplaces that now anchor both levels. The venue accommodates up to 125 guests and offers a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor settings. Inside, exposed wooden beams, original stone walls, and fireplace surrounds lend a warm and distinctive character that sets it apart from conventional banquet spaces. Outside, the Sacred Garden — completed in 2014 — provides a landscaped ceremony setting with a pond and waterfall, a labyrinth, an archway, and ample seating, all within a tree-lined natural landscape. Prince William, Virginia's Bel Air 1740 is a sophisticated, new English garden venue that is located approximately 25 minutes south of Washington, DC in Prince William. Beloved Bel Air is a private 25 acre enclave of spectacular rural beauty nestled in the heart of a bustling urban region with easy access to Uber / taxi service as well as a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and other services. Because of its beautiful rolling fields, elegant lawns, and lovely English gardens, Bel Air 1740 is a beautiful venue for indoor and outdoor receptions, pictures, and ceremonies. It also has a new Wedding Barn for ceremonies and receptions. The 7000 square foot climate controlled wedding barn has a capacity of 150 guests (with a permit, it may accommodate up to 200+ guests). The Old Manassas Courthouse is a restored 19th-century courthouse at the corner of Grant Avenue and Lee Avenue in Old Town Manassas, Virginia. Built as Prince William County's fifth courthouse, the building served as the county seat from 1894 until 1982 before being restored and reopening to the public in 2001. Upstairs, the original courtroom has been rehabilitated into a ballroom that hosts meetings, receptions, and private celebrations for up to 100 guests, with tables and chairs provided. The surrounding grounds carry their own history: Civil War-era cannons and a commemorative monument remain on site, marking the courthouse's role as the location of the 1911 Peace Jubilee, when President Taft stood on the grounds to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the First Battle of Manassas.
