Loon Pond Lodge occupies the historic Ted Williams Camp in Lakeville, Massachusetts, on the wooded shores of Loon Pond. Owned by the Town of Lakeville and operated through the Lakeville Park Commission, the lodge carries a storied connection to the legendary baseball player who made this waterfront his personal retreat. Martha’s Vineyard’s oldest continuously working family farm, the Allen Farm in Chilmark consists of 100 acres of rolling pastures and meadows bounded by historic stonewalls, upper Chilmark Pond and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Jonathan Allen originally purchased the farm in 1762, and ten years later his oldest son, Tristram, built the timber-framed farmhouse, which still sits just off of South Road in Chilmark. We restored the house in 1998, incorporating grey water and Clivus Multrum composting systems into the ancient fabric of the historic structure. The farmhouse and all its attendant outbuildings are very representative of the heritage of traditional New England farmsteads. In 1975 Clarissa Allen, then in her early twenties, inherited the farm and together with her husband Mitchell Posin, they began the difficult and challenging task of bringing to fruition their vision for a viable and sustainable working farm.

Nestled along the banks of the Nunckatessett River in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, the Nunckatessett Canoe Club was originally built in 1904 as a storage facility for 63 canoes. It offered members a place to keep their canoes while enjoying the scenic beauty of the river and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. In 1915, the club relocated and expanded, adding a second story to accommodate more canoes and a spacious assembly hall for dancing. Unfortunately, just two years later, the new building was destroyed by a fire. Despite this setback, the Nunckatessett Canoe Club became a popular venue for large social gatherings and dances over the following decades. It hosted legendary performers like Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra, and Rosemary Clooney, making it a cherished spot for music and celebration.

President John Adams signed a contract with Hingham's Martin Lincoln to construct a timber lighthouse with a keeper's cottage and outbuildings. The light was turned on for the first time on November 7, 1799. Paul Revere supplied some copper and tin to supplement the Light's weatherproofing after it was constructed. THE ROOM OF THE BLACKSMITH We used to have a blacksmith shop in our private dining room, which was originally part of the working quarry. The forge, which was the hearth of the blacksmith, was where granite cutting tools were created, repaired, and sharpened. The Blacksmith Room is decorated with wrought-iron chandeliers, skylights, and vintage sconces that were imported from Europe. When set up as a king-style table, the room can comfortably accommodate 22 guests, or up to 30 people when set up as 5 tables of 6. The perfect setting for a rehearsal dinner, business presentation, family gathering, or cocktail party. THE ROOM WITH THE STONES There are large dark wood bamboo dividers separating this private function space from the main dining room, creating a spacious event space with stone-walled cathedral ceilings, wall mounted wine racks, and floor to ceiling windows. Tucked away toward the front of the building, The Stone Room is the ideal setting for your special occasion or reception. Can accommodate a 30-person event, complete with buffet and cake serving areas as well as gift-giving areas DESCRIPTION OF THE QUARRY ROOM Our Main Dining Room, which overlooks our granite quarry and patio, provides breathtaking views through a wall of full-height glass windows. Along with cathedral ceilings, rustic exposed wood beams, skylights, and wrought-iron chandeliers, the Quarry Room has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The historically significant Vanderhoop Homestead, which dates back to as early as 1850 and can be seen inside the Aquinnah Circle, is also the location of the Aquinnah Cultural Center. The grounds and the stone terrace are accessible for use for events, however the Cultural Center and the building themselves are not. The Cultural Center and its grounds, like the Lighthouse, look out over the stunning clay cliffs and are conveniently located within walking distance of a number of restaurants, stores, and Moshup Beach (public beach). Scott has been a chef for the last 18 years and has worked at various restaurants in New York City that have earned a Michelin star. Some of these places include Jean-Georges flagship restaurant on Columbus circle and Charlie Palmer's Aureole. His most recent position was as executive chef at Sutton Inn, where he was awarded two Michelin recommendations, a four-star rating from the Daily News, and was named one of Manhattan's top 10 American restaurants by OpenTable for five years in a row. In 1971, we constructed the first version of this home on property that belonged to the family... I have been a permanent resident of this area ever since that time. In 1989, we completely refurbished the home and expanded on to it in order to turn it into a seven-room inn that is light, clean, and spacious. The structure has always had an expansive covered wrap-around porch on the east and north sides. This porch, combined with the other common spaces and lawns, provides sufficient room for visitors to enjoy an evening of unhurried activity. As a result of our location at the very western tip of the island, we are privy to some of the most breathtaking scenery, panoramas, beach breezes, and sunsets in all of Martha's Vineyard.

The Hingham Heritage Museum occupies the 1818 former Derby Academy building — an elegant Federal-era structure atop a hill overlooking Hingham Square — and serves as the headquarters of the Hingham Historical Society, founded in 1914. Its three floors house galleries, exhibits, a visitors center, and society archives. The museum's upstairs ballroom is the centerpiece for private events, with arching windows, period portraits, and an adjacent brick terrace. Handicapped accessible, the ballroom accommodates seated dinners for 100 and standing receptions for up to 200. Fuller Craft Museum describes itself as New England's home for contemporary craft, located at 455 Oak Street in Brockton, Massachusetts. The museum sits on 22 acres of woodland on the shores of Upper Porters Pond, and its event spaces look out over the water and an adjacent patio. Three spaces are available for private rental: the Museum Greatroom, the Museum Lounge, and Studio A. The Greatroom — the largest of the three — accommodates up to 135 seated or 175 standing guests beneath high ceilings with exposed wood beams.
