Meadowlark 1939, a historic estate 50 minutes south of Atlanta and steeped in history, is a reminiscence of English-inspired gardens combined with the warmth and welcome of southern charm. With crawling ivy, magnolia trees, statues and statuettes, clear lakes, and walkways to meander, we've created an environment where significant moments and connections can flourish! The journey begins with a site visit, during which you will be able to appreciate the beauty and heart of Meadowlark 1939 and her caretakers. We guarantee that from the moment you set foot on the site, you will "feel" the beautiful wedding setting of your dreams. Meadowlark Garden consisted of a total of seven acres of old formal gardens, which were set inside a 400-acre conservation area. The ancient property, which was built in 1883, has 2,200 square feet of furnished area for preparations and storage. Our 150-year-old Pecan tree provides a gorgeous backdrop for any event, and the site can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the configuration of your event. There are a variety of ceremony and reception sites available on the property. Ingram family has owned this historically historic property since it was purchased in 1939, when they purchased the original farmhouse built in 1891, which is now a museum. When Frank Ingram and his wife, Rhoda Hopson Ingram, bought the ancient farmhouse, they immediately started renovating it and planting flowers in it. Rhoda Hopson had a genuine passion for gardening, and she imagined walkways and allees that would meander through pleasant garden rooms, which she saw come to fruition throughout her life. A number of years later, her grandson Jay Averett, together with the property's caretakers, AP and Alea Moore, revived the gorgeous property as Meadowlark 1939, bringing it back to life.

Artu was established on the most basic Italian technique: wonderful ingredients served simply. Artu first opened its doors to the world in February 1992, with exceptional sandwiches and mouthwatering roasted meats. Since then, we have continued to improve and grow. We've steadily expanded our repertoire since then. We've created old-world comfort food dishes from those sandwiches and roasted meats, as well as modern versions of those classics that make even the most discerning diner remember about their upbringing. Some may recall our kitchen being hidden behind a high counter that was visible from the dining room. The Gahanna Sanctuary is a nonprofit event venue set inside a building with more than 129 years of history, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987. A 2024 renovation refreshed the lighting and architectural details while preserving the character of the space, including its Tudor stained-glass windows, which give the main hall a distinctive backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations. Built in the late 1800s by Italian tradesmen and coal miners, the structure first opened as the Piedmonte Saloon. More than a century later, it has been remodeled into an indoor-outdoor event venue where Old World stonework meets modern amenities. The venue centers on a reception area with a mobile bar and a great room that opens fully to a private, lighted yard ringed by garden beds. Custom wood farm tables, wine barrel cocktail tables, a fire pit or fountain, and a pergola furnish the space. Court Street Livery is a restored 19th-century barn in Washington, Georgia, steps from the town square in the heart of Northeast Georgia — roughly two hours east of Atlanta and under an hour from both Athens and Augusta. The 3,000-square-foot venue centers on a wide open floor plan beneath 35-foot vaulted ceilings with soaring heart pine rafters, posts, and beams. Three large garage doors open the space toward an adjoining plaza, flooding the interior with natural light and allowing the event footprint to expand outdoors under a tent when the occasion calls for it. Exposed brick walls, finished concrete floors, antique chandeliers, and variable lighting round out a setting that suits everything from a seated wedding reception to a gallery showcase to a corporate meeting. The main hall accommodates up to 175 guests indoors. A full catering kitchen with commercial appliances is on-site, and clients are welcome to bring their own caterers and beverages. The Hill at Wright's Farm is situated on a 450-acre working farm in the center of the Hudson Valley, New York, and is surrounded by fresh peach trees in the summer and Mutsu, Mac, and Cortland apple trees in the fall. The Shawangunk Mountain Ridge serves as the backdrop to this landmark, and the view from there is so spectacular that the fields surrounding The Hill were kept unplanted in order to preserve the scenic grandeur of the surrounding area. In addition to the already noticeable attraction, the natural aroma of the peach flowers and apple blooms enhances the experience. The Hill got its start in 2014, when our daughter made the decision to have her wedding “on top of the hill.” The rest is history. Because of the site's allure, making the decision to use it was a straightforward process. Plans were drawn up to construct a terrace that would overlook the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. The patio is enclosed by a split-rail fence, which is ideal for accommodating all of the event's guests. Whether it is in the afternoon or at night, the sky surrounding The Hill stretches for miles in every direction, and the sunsets are impossible to capture with a digital camera. The site encompasses six authentically restored buildings, the Mattie King Davis Art Gallery, and the adjacent Old Burying Grounds, preserving the architectural and cultural heritage of Beaufort and Carteret County. For weddings, receptions, and other celebrations, the site offers a spacious outdoor venue shaded by magnolia trees, with room for classic white tents across the grounds.
